just download Ccleaner its free and cleans ur temp files, every browser temp files, passwords, search info etc... and ita free... even empties ur trash for you
Apps like this will not make your Mac faster. That's a myth. Cleaning caches/junk files etc just helps reclaim disk space. So long as you have at least 10% free disk space it will make zero difference to speed. You want a faster Mac? Buy more RAM. You want even faster? Buy a new Mac. Don't fall for marketing BS.
@j800r more ram won't do hardly jack to make it faster UNLESS your primary concern is the speed of MULTITASKing RAM hungry apps.
going from HDD to decent SSD =MASSIVE speed boost. that I know from experience. I've custom built enough pc's since 2001 to know this. but you are correct in that most programs that CLAIM in their marketing that it will speed up your pc by double ...often...DON'T Mycleanpc= perfect example..it's pure bs.
@chronofusion You misunderstood me mate. I meant easy ways to speed up your Mac. If you own an iMac for example the only thing you can easily upgrade is RAM. And it DOES help on a Mac. The number one culprit for Macs getting sluggish is a lot of RAM being consumed. I agree, an SSD would speed things up a hell of a lot, but you can't insert one yourself without a lot of skill and no fear of voiding your warranty (or AppleCare). My main point was just that this vid is complete bs.
