It's impossible for the gap between the end of the biceps to the elbow joint to be filled in. If you have short biceps and a correspondingly long tendon, then you'll have to live with it. What's more, having a short biceps muscle means that one will never be able to have a substantially large arm, as contributed by the biceps. The same goes for the triceps; if the (contracted) long head stops short of half way down the length of the humerus, then the potential for size is also impeded.
seriously that is an amazing peak by a natural bodybuilder , i have seen roid users have big peak but it is good to see a natural bodybuilder can achieve the same

@dimivc the shorter bicep you have the more potencial you have to get a really good peak, if you have a long bicep you will have more strength. but no its genetic

dont let it bother you, it looks more natural when your triceps and biceps get bigger, it also looks less obvious sometimes when you twist your wrists outwards

The biceps peak is mostly genetic. I have a peak on my biceps whether I'm in shape or not. Like anything else it can be improved, but a guy with flat biceps wont turn into Robbie Robinson or Arnold. Just wont happen.
It's like calves. Either you have them or you don't.
biceps are not really peaked by training, for example ronnie coleman and albert beckles have both peaked biceps because of their genetics not due to their exercises , while levrone and flex wheeler dont have such peaks , so its not true that such training would necessarely work for guys that don't have genetic potentials . With all that work you are doing on your biceps, that long biceps tendon and your staying nice and lean you should be able to touch your forearm with your biceps peak and leave a triangle on light inside your elbow to let your viewers see if you hold it at the right angle to your camera.
Thanks for this luimarco, looks like I'm going to be using it for a while... rotator cuff injury :(. Worst part is I didn't even do it in the gym. Oh well at least I can train tri/bicep.
great technique. I see way too many people using too much weight and jerking it up with the whole body and lifting the arm off the incline. Discipline and concentration is the way to go.
mate you should compete in my opinion, you could walk into quite a few shows looking like that and have the judges immediately wondering who will get 2nd :). im 16 and doing my first NATURAL comp next year :)
@TheMaxbodybuilder Resistant bands enhance the tension as you go and that is exactly the opposite of the Preacher Curls where the tension diminishes as you go. and yes i tried them and they messed up my Biceps, i'll never touch them back. Not recommended by me Pal ;)
Can I just add as well, It's clear Lui puts a great deal of effort into training consistently, not over training! Just being consistent. Everybody has a peak to there biceps, however, it isn't always possible to get a really high peak, specially guys with shorter arms. Lui has brilliant muscle structure and through hard work and dedication he's got easily some of the best guns on Youtube.

A website told me that:
Preacher Curls Stimulates the Bicep 90%
Incline Seated Barbell Curl 88%
Standing biceps curls (Olympic bar/narrow grip) - 86
Concentration dumbbell curls - 80
I use four of these Exercises for Mass and Peak. Research says doing Back & Bicep in one workout will add great mass to your biceps.

I improved my peak by doing concentration curls emphasizing the negative part(lowering the weight very slowly).I will definately try this excercise.
