i just love Stephen Bishop...he best exemplifies the artist of the 70's...his style of music just blows my mind away....it's just hard to find another one like him with present day artists and their brand of music sorry to say....
Estoy buscando la película que se llama "Unfaithfully yours" con Duddley More, Armand Assante y Natasha Kinski, en la que tocan las czardas de Monti en un dueto de violines. Ojalá pudieran conseguir esta escena.
You may want to add the tag "One Love" to this video. It is from the movie "Unfaithfully Yours" but the title of the song is "One Love." I never tire of hearing this song -- it makes me so happy! It should have been a bigger hit. (The movie is underrated, too -- what a fun popcorn movie it is!)
I met Stephen Bishop here in Racks Resto Amorsolo Makati , he signed my cds and Records, before dinner and the next day is his 1st Concert here in manila w/ front act Band Side A
It's interesting that you're mentioning Michael Franks while listening to Stephen Bishop because that's just what I was going to do next--look for Michael Franks. I guess their voices are similar enough to evoke a connection in *great minds*!!
Paisanono1, I actually looked up Michael Franks b/c I was not familiar with him, and I actually liked what I heard quite a bit. Thanks for the recommendation!
I knew his career was on a downward spiral when he was a celebrity on the short-lived Crosswits revival in 1986. He talked about making an album with Clapton, and host David Sparks most associated Clapton with Lay Down Sally.
I remember Never Letting Go, On and ON, Save A Little Love My Way, Separate Lives and of course from Tootsie "It Might Be You" directed by the late great Sydney Pollack
Love this song and Movie is a favorite!
