My dad and two uncles say that waterboarding is torture. Torture is against the geneva convention. They were never waterboarded. My grandfather is a veteran of WW2 and fought all through Europe. He says waterboarding is torture and it is wrong. I cannot ask my cousin, who was like a brother to me, because he was killed in Afghanistan but I am pretty certain from previous discussions that he felt the same way.

There are rules for conducting war and there have been for a very long time. All soldiers know this. Any soldier that I have met has no trouble fighting in a war when called upon...killing and dying.... but they do not believe in torturing prisoners.

My dad and two uncles say that waterboarding is torture. Torture is against the geneva convention. They were never waterboarded. My grandfather is a veteran of WW2 and fought all through Europe. He says waterboarding is torture and it is wrong. I cannot ask my cousin, who was like a brother to me, because he was killed in Afghanistan but I am pretty certain from previous discussions that he felt the same way.

My cousin, a Canadian soldier, was killed in Afghanistan and if he had been captured and tortured, I would expect that the people who did it would be charged with a war crime. There are rules for conducting war and there have been for a very long time. All soldiers know this. My cousin, a Canadian soldier, was killed in Afghanistan and if he had been captured and tortured, I would expect that the people who did it would be charged with a war crime. If we don't want our soldiers to be tortured than we should not do it. I feel the pain that woman does, literally. I grieve but I still know in my heart that torture is wrong.
