  • Id say it was a good video. he explained it enough i think. i like to hit the heavy bag alot so its nice to pratice new technique.

  • you guys are some smart asses, it doesn't take a lot of tutorials to ko someone with a fucking hammer smh

  • I thought it was literally a hammer

  • i was thinking it was gonna be a real hammer

  • hahaha the second guy voice sounds so guetto

  • thumbs up if you don't know how you came here

  • I thought he meant a real hammer. I went to this video just to say "Hit them on the head with it..."

  • Absolutely ridiculous! More power in a hammer fist than a punch! BWAHAHAHAHA! A hammer fist is a more natural strike than a punch! Bwahahahahaha, absolute nonsense! The fact is boxers would use hammer fists to knock their opponent out if the hammer fist was better than the techniques that men have been using to knock people out for hundreds of years! This fella on doing these demo's is a joker! plain and simple!

  • @lordblighty Boxers dont use the hammer fist because its against the rules

  • @joe37959 If it was an effective way of knocking someone out then boxers would of used that type of punch (if you can call it that) before the Queensbury rules were established. They didn't and the fact of the matter is that it isn't a natural way to deliver a punch and isn't a good way to get power into a punch either.

If it's such an effective strike whilst standing you'd see it used in MMA where it isn't illegal in the stand up. Who's ever used a hammer fist in the stand up?

    Garbage!

  • @lordblighty This guy's definitely full of it when he says a hammer fist has more power and is more natural than a punch. He only says that because he's completely against punching...he believes it's far too easy to damage your own hand with a regular punch. There's also the fact that if you're a little guy, you simply can't get much power behind a punch no matter how well you throw it. All valid points. But you're right, a trained boxer would likely own someone using hammer fists.

  • @RonaldMcDickFace How you doing mate, Yeah he is against punching but its the most basic and effective way of defending yourself! That alone is reason enough not to listen to this bloke. As for smaller men not punching with power. Tyson was significantly shorter than most of his opponents. Powering up with punches out of a crouch makes it easier to generate power, than punching downward at a significantly shorter man. The power comes from the floor up with all power punches.

  • @lordblighty Hey, when I say small, I don't mean Mike Tyson small. I mean a 150-160 pound guy who has no business being in a fight in the first place. This guy's self defense techniques are designed to inflict maximum damage while minimizing damage to yourself, then RUNNING AWAY. I don't think he'd even argue it's the best way to fight, but it's designed for who it's designed for. Training will ALWAYS beat lack of training, but sometimes an untrained dude has to do the best he can.

  • @RonaldMcDickFace I've seen 9 stone men wringing wet, knock big fella's out with a single punch. You don't have to be a monster to knock someone out IF you know how to deliver a punch properly. All I'm trying to say is that anyone no matter how big or small with no fighting skill are not going to benefit from listening to this bloke in the video.

    All the best.

  • @RonaldMcDickFace r u saying u cant fight at 160 pounds?

  • small radius swing has less force than wide radius swing wtf are you talking about? lol

  • How do you knock someone out with a hammer? FUCKING HIT THEM WITH IT!!!

  • the body bag is camouflage. So that deer will not detect it and run away.

  • why is there even a guide for this. you have a friggin hammer. I dont think it takes that much contemplation and planning to knock someone out ?

  • Men......you talk to much more tech. And less talk

  • He talk to much

  • or he could just hit the side of the neck

  • No idiot... getting knocked out does not have to do with a nerve cluster on your jawline that connects to your brain... and hammer fists do not have more potential energy than punches, you dont use nearly as many muscle groups. I'm actually astounded by how retarded this "expert" is in larp-fu and compliant partner drill bs.

  • He's moving his face in before the punch. Very bad idea.

  • McCain schools Obama ...ther're such nice boys.

  • So I should hold my arm perpendicular to the angle of attack for more power? Good to know.

  • Bas Rutten's self defense system is effective AND entertaining to watch/learn.

    watch?v=rQVaTEPOsTA

  • Is that Barack Obama?

  • EXCELLENT THE FORWARD WEIGHT SEALS THE DEAL

  • The second guy stole the show with his line, lol.

  • Killer moves. Great Video!

  • i have never heard the second guy talk before, then he's like "I'm gonna knock ya ass out" i laughed out loud!

  • Enjoy your channel, and love the fist hammer, but I wouldn't choose it to go after the chin or jaw. Just to uncomfortable for me in that position. I'd rather use a palm heal under the chin, or an uppercut or punch. (which is natural for me) I'd rather use a fisthammer to the bridge of the nose.

  • @SmokeRingsPipeDreams Sneak a palm heel up the centerline, shin/knee kick the groin, hammerfist before the kicking leg steps down, repeat. Watch this vid of Tyson talking about knockouts (search "Mike Tyson - How To Knock Someone Out!", it may be on the right in the video suggetions). Even Mike knows there are probs with the 1 punch knockout. Too bad he didn't remember this lesson later in his career. The problem with 1 punch knockout attempts is that untrained fighters tend to telegraph them.

  • @bae313 I agree, I have been training since I was eight years old, and yet when I was attacked a couple years ago by a crazy man I was unable to get a shot on his chin because of his arm position and mine, so I when for punches to his left eye (I'm right handed) and that stunned him, but didn't knock him out. We went to ground where he tried to chock me, but he lost an eye for his trouble. Eyes are good vital points. I did however end up using fist hammers to his kidneys and lower back.

  • Now if u carry nails in ur pocket..thats a kill.

  • @rocknino300 no that's a wound.

  • I was expecting a real hammer....

  • @nuclearthreat545 LOL I was expecting the samething when I saw the title.

  • didnt i see that guy on The Sopranos
