Update: I can now close my BeefBuilder Master consistantly, but not for reps. Had to take awhile off of gripper training due to injury or else I'd be even further along. But I'm happy to report that I'm once again making progress. My focus is now on the #2.
Where are you at with your grippers now BTW? Did you close the #3 yet? As an update on what I can do, after battling injuries in 2007 and early 2008, I worked back to where I was in 2006 when I closed the Master barely, but in 2008 and most of 2009, I struggled to go beyond that point, but then in fall of 2009 I began making mass progress. Now I'm TNS closing the Master for reps, TNS close the #2, and close the Super Master (but with an MMS). I'm 1/4" from the Grand Master, and 3/4" from the #3.

The handles look a bit far apart.

Those were five no-set closes, really good! I can't quite even close my BeefBuilder Master ONCE yet. I'm about 1 mm away.
