Thanks, it works in Romania too. I tried it on a Vodafone locked phone, MCC/MNC was 22601 and the last digit was 4 in my case. It worked the first time, after restarting the phone, I inserted the new sim and it just worked, didn't have to do the next steps.

Hi all it makes no difference if your on what ever locked network just as long as you follow the video it will work just fine the only difference being is you would need to google your network lock number.

for other networks than orange one can download some registry editor cab and using it go to:

HKCU\System\State\PHONE

the IMSI is right there ;)

Tried this and it has locked up my phone. I was on Orange. After replacing sim as instructed and turning on it comes up with a notification of NO SERVICE - it then gives a screen requesting a PIN and a non standard keyboard layout. Only emergency calls can be made. How do I rectify this please.
