ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE WAS BORN IN 1802 NEAR PARIS, FRANCE. 'COINCIDENTALLY' IN 1902 THE SOCIETY OF GESU(JESUITS) WERE KICKED OUT OF FRANCE FOR THE THIRD AND LAST TIME. IN 1848 ALEXANDRE DUMAS WROTE THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK AND IN THE SAME YEAR THE SOCIETY OF JESU(JRESUITS) WERE OUSTED FROM FRANCE FOR THE SECOND TIME. THE SOCIETY OF JESUS(JESUITS) HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT OF 82 COUNTRIES.

The recent earthquake in Jyekundo,Tibet(Yushu,Chinese) has greatly impacted on  the Nuns in a very personal way. Before the devastating earthquake, this area was home to many of the nuns you see in this film. It has been reported that their monastic home in Nangchen,Tibet is intact, but that many are mourning the loss of family members who died in the earthquake and those that have been left shocked and homeless. Their prayers go out to all who are suffering.
