  • wtf why the hell didn't he run out of the buildings entrance? HE WENT RIGHT PAST IT

  • Nice job with the toy gun. what did you use to do all the effects?

  • AWESOME! I LOVED IT REALLY!

  • Great effects and great music choice! Makes it perfect! Hope you're continueing this great work also in 2009 and serve us more videos in that quality :o)

  • This is amazing! Great effects!

I think that actor was really good!

  • Not Bad

  • I like the digital filter you used with After Effect and the mood the beginning title set. However the kid in the movie (good guy) did really fit the role to me though, and the endings didn't fit well.

  • the beginning is a bit slow but it was very well done. Nice use of after effects too :) keep on going!

  • I am curious, who played as the killer? Did you use two actors or just one? Nice effects as well.

  • I was playing the Bad Guy and my cousin was the Good Guy. There were only two of us :)

  • very nice, I found the middle part a bit boring but still, nice :-)

  • wyczapiste! :D 5/5

  • Very Very god job .Actor is Fantastic realy

  • This is already happend.

  • is that evanescence i hear at the start?

really cool photography, escpecially in the beginning.

  • Yes, it is.

  • WOW! very very good!!! REALLY!!

  • dude, this was soooo much better then the vid that won the contest, I can't believe it, haha.

  • I think you should win the Contest

  • awesome job!

  • The quality and music was cool! But wouldn't a normal person scream or something if a killer was after him/her? Anywho, pretty decent. I would like to see what you could do with some professional equipment and actors.

  • What is the model of the camera that u used to shot this film? Nice film.

  • It was shot with digital camera :) Very simple one Panasonic DMC-LC50. I had to do a lot of color correction.

  • Jesus Christ, on one of those little bitty handheld picture cameras that ALSO happens to shoot video? I am insanely impressed. What did you do yor color correction and editing on? I've GOT to believe the picture quality was vastly improved upon whichever program you used, am I correct?

  • You are correct :) I used After Effects filters and some plugins for color correction and effects. I edited on Premiere Pro.

Lots of work went into the sequence in the basement. Some shots were pitch black :)

  • DO you work on a PC or Mac? And, are the effects with After Effects hard to learn how to use? For a novice, such as myself? I've spent all my life poor, making the best shorts I could on lame ole VHS, using two VCR's to edit. It always came out shoddy, which prompted me to work all the harder. Now that I've a Canon HV20, and Pinnacle Studio Pro Plus, things run SO much smoother. (cont...)

  • that was great

  • I just entered my films into the 7seveng7 and then saw this i may as well pull out now lol that was excellent

  • Genius, thats all i can say, i could never make a good fil like dis

  • For me to say that this is good would be the very definition of an understatement. The filmwork was brilliant, the soundtrack was solid, and the suspense was so intense. Overall very very good.

  • Thanks :)

  • zajebisty filmik

  • Great Job! Shots are really amazing. I like camera move. Really nice short thriller. Go on, Fincher Fan! :)

  • Keep up the great work, mate.

    I LOVE the outdoor shots.

    The look fantastic.

    Was it dawn or dusk?

And was the sky overcast like that?

How much of it was post production?

  • All the sky was replaced in post production :) I wanted it to be more dramatic.

  • WOW - had me jump right outta my seat! Although agree with st39point6, beginning is excellent. Remainder wasn't bad - but could use a little something? Tempo changed from beginning to end? I dunno....I'm only a rookie at this, but ya got my vote & 5*s.

  • Thank you for your rating. I'm still learing... so I'm a rookie myself ;)

  • ok man, I've checked out pretty much all of the videos for the 7seveng7 contest thing, and your's is pretty much the only good one. I just submitted my own entry (Brain Food) and wouild like you to view it. But kudos to you for having pretty much the only good video.

  • I liked it... good job... what editor do you use?

  • I've used Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas.

  • wooh

i like the camera screening the television when the alert for a PSYCHO MANIAC is on the loose flashes across

  • I think this may have much too ambitious of a project.. it starts well.. I agree with st39point6, that the onerous music and sound effects lead up to the climax of the film, however, I was expecting more... and the payoff seemed convoluted and frenetic, but over all good work.

  • Yeah... We were in a little hurry. It was shot in like 3 hours but the post production took me like a 3 weeks. It's nothing big, I'm still learning stuff but I liked the final result. Thanks for your comment.

  • You're welcome...I still think it was a good effort!

  • goooood job amigo! I like the special effects and some scenes, especially the beginning! Keep on makin such a stuff, thought later it might be more ... it just could be bigger and more thrilling ...
