An amazing classic that was WAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of it's time when it came out, it was an absolute monster when it was being passed around on dubplate. If only dnb of the techy variety had continued to keep it balanced like this tune we wouldn't have so much trash that's prevalent today.

Yes – heard this in that Hospital podcast. At first I turned green – I spent ages making a dnb tune with the same (completely awesome) Ghost in the Shell sample about 15 years ago. There's still some stuff about my version that I still prefer, but I have to admit that overall, Makai rocked the shit out of it.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! i have a mixtape by DJ DB called Deep & Deadly that i got at a party way back in the day that's got this track on it. unfortunately though, the tape doesn't have any liner notes, so i never knew who produced this track.... i even went as far as email him asking for the track list and even mentioned this track (that tune with the G.I.t.S. sample). he replied, and said he was surprised that i'd managed to find a copy of the tape, but he couldn't remember what tracks were on it.

This tune may be less known to some people because it is by a German artist. Also, the guy who selected it on Hospital podcast 100 clearly had a German accent. For some weird reason it never got over to Britain on a large scale at the time. This tune definitely made me stop disliking Drum&Bass in '98. Remember staying up every night watching Viva in hopes for it to play when I still lived in Germany. Now, all I listen to is DnB...
