Nice one! BTW, can the bit with the colour rasters and the part where the loading screen image is drawn block by block be recreated with today's tech? (The colour raster would have more colours though.)
PS. I wonder what the Winx Club would look like on the C64 or Amiga/ST or even the Atari Falcon? Also, if they 'did' a Winx Club game for the C64, Amiga or Atari Computers (the Falcon version would be cool), what would the loading screens be like? Would Bloom look hot in 8-bit?
AAAIIIIIEEEEEE where is the ending?!! If you'd have stopped the tape while loading you'd have the full song!! nooooooooooooooooooo.
Can anyone find the full SID/mp3 for this online? I've been looking for this for decades!!

Did the music play during tape loading?
Abrimaal 2 years ago
yes
carpet202 2 years ago
This is impossible. It could play after loading, while loading the interrupts are disabled.

Did you never see the famous Ocean loaders? Picture and music while loading a C64 games was possible.
Seach for ocean loader her on youtube.
omhgs 2 years ago
@omhgs ...and the music was playing at 50 Hz?
Incredible! I had turbo in C64 so the games loaded with stripes on the full screen.
On Spectrum I saw some loaders displaying counters, scrolls, even simple animations while loading from tape.

omg what crap quality, did you record it using a sinclair camera or what?!!?!?!?!
MadCommodore 3 years ago
yes the quality is crap - it was converted from a VHS tape recorded about 20 years ago,

Isn't this the title tune to Cybernoid? Didn't realise it was used for Cybernoid 2 - both written by Jeroen Tel of course... :-)
3dcandy 3 years ago
Yes, this is music from Cybernoid 1. For me the best composition ever written on C64.
