@Zaharkl Well that i'm aware of the boy is dead, watch the 5 last episodes and also note the resurrection equipment and base star UI and equipment at the end when someone comes to life.

If the boy is dead then the new baby is young and had no memory of any of the events till years later after Caprica, the age would be affected, and the technology in the Battlestar movie showing that resurrection wasn't fully ready yet, the technology at end of Caprica seemed to be mostly complete.

I'm actually a big fan of BSG and I must say that I really like Caprica. I thought it would go in the wrong direction, but it certainly did not!

@milzbrrrrand Caprica is more of a science fiction " soap opera ", but I liked the 1st season & can't wait for the rest. I want to know HOW the Cylons evolved into having almost organic components in just under 58 years. They've given us a glimpse at how they got their monotheistic beliefs.

Caprica has different spirit than BSG. They are connected yes, but to put the opening music theme of BSG into Caprica is not appropriate to me. Caprica has very nice music from the same composer.

I liked it, pretty good since this was made before the intro came out, I wish people wouldn't all think "omg this is so fake im gona 1 star it cuz itz gey" and give videos like this crappy ratings, I find retarded people do that often...but anyways great work I really liked it especially because there were so little clips available at the time, 5 stars!

Unfortunately people will continue to do so but I wouldn't blame all of them. It's very hard to find a really good fan-made trailer amongst bad ones, especially when most of them do it in a cliché manner and try to pass it off as a canon trailer. This is why it pisses many people off.

Too bad the pilot episode doesn't contain the BSG music. I've seen Caprica, and honestly I don't know if it will last. It's just not that good. Maybe it will grow on me later.

Search Youtub for: "Battlestar Galactica 2003 mini-series opening scene". It's the intro to the miniseries that spawned the newer BSG series. I can't believe you missed the newer BSG. You shoud have watched, you would have gotten hooked fast. Tonight's episode of Caprica wasn't bad, so I'm hoping the series grows on me.

Really? I thought Caprica had really interesting characters and a really interesting storyline. Good thing I didn't watch BSG first cause all of the BSG fans seem to hate Caprica which is totally fine. In fact after watching Caprica I may just have to go and buy the first season of BSG

Not the old series, the old one was too cheesy.

In 2003 a revisioned BSG miniseries aired. It was so popular that SyFy ordered a series that lasted 4 seasons. You need to watch the miniseries first because season 1 picks up where the miniseries ends. The miniseries and most of the BSG series can be viewed online for free. Shoot me a msg if you want links.

BSG is more of a action type of science fiction, while, Caprica is a family type of science fiction ;)

I wouldn't say it's a 'family type' I would say it's political side outways the action in it. However, like Battlestar Galactica, it is science fiction and the movie tied in quite well with the beginning of how the war began.
