Dude I'm a Grohl fan too. But, this is a pretty dam good cover. Marty sings it with a lot of emotion that makes you enjoy this version in a different way than the original. I enjoy both versions. Grohl sings cover of other people's songs too like the Beatles.....so chill.

Actually you probably just never heard the acoustic version by Foo Fighters. I never liked the song either, till I heard that version. It was something randomly done on air for a radio station. Its floating around the net somewhere. That version rocks...

@brad, Nah, you got to figure the other guy was an Elvis impersonator and Marty was an original talent. INXS didn't really want a "new" sound or a new act otherwise Jordis would have one as she did the best job singing INXS songs. Morty Kicks ass and really deserves fame but unfortunately cool music and awesome people are not getting the credit they deserve as RAP, ignorance, disrespect, and illiteracy are celebrated and even encouraged as a source of pride.

Not bad at all...Very hard song to sing normally let alone acoustic. Singing acoustic always shows up slight midhaps in your performance as the song is based around your voice only. With a full band theres alot more energy coming from the rest of the instruments so you over look singing out of key.
