@nimitz2020 because it is a different genre... for instance, i love house, electro and some drum and base. but i hate trance. they are all classed as techno i guess, but still aint the same.
They are classified as different styles because they are different kinds of music. you wouldn't say all music with a guitar in it is rock, yet all electronic music is 'techno'.
Techno is a genre of EDM just like trance, electro house, hardstyle, etc.
Electro house is not techno, neither is house, hardstyle, DnB, etc.
Learn whats up, theres a huge difference between genres.
