  • CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS SONG.

  • Man i love this song, old time rock.

  • Thanks for posting this hard-to-find song. I saw Greg Kihn perform this song live at the Oakland Arena in the late-70's. His band put on a great show. They knew how to entertain.

  • Love Greg Kihn...a hit maker with not enough hits. Those first five or six albums are just full of great songs.

  • This song is fantastic... thanks for posting it. :) And Greg Kihn is fantastic. Loved listening daily back in the late 90s on KFOX. I'll never forget when he told a story about the party the band got ejected from when his guitarist asked Brooke Shields if "ya got any vodka".

  • One of best songs Lou Reed never wrote.

  • One of best songs Lou Reed never wrote.

  • Thank you for putting this up. Wish he/they were on Spotify.

  • Saw them around 1977 at eric's in liverpool (ex-cavern club, I think. it was a cellar). The rubinoos opened - they were good too. both on the 'beserkley' label. guitarist was playing a strat then. a bit of san francisco pop glamour and cool in deeply depressed liverpool. I forget the name of the album but they did a good version of buddy holly's 'love is blue' on it. where are they now?

  • @wlchnck Greg is now the morning dj at our local SF radio station 98.5 KFOX, he is a very knowledgable, opiniionative and always entertaining. We are very lucky to have him. He still does gigs locally quite often.

  • Truly awesome, somehow so direct and cuts through. The whole album was such a minor masterpiece, that it was a major masterpiece..by this fact alone.

    "Greg Kihn again"

  • great song makes ya want to get up and dance

  • This was the only GREAT song he ever did, It had everything a hit needs, great beat, the guitarists rock, great lyrics, saw him do it at the Redding Civic Audirorium in 79? he was so cool, his guitar player back then really stretched out with his les paul.

  • The Horror Show album is a freaking masterpiece.

  • Man, his first couple albums were really good. I tried to turn my friends on to them to no avail. They should have been more well known.

  • This was the tune that first caught my attention. Great performer, composer. And not a bad DJ, author and all around good guy.

  • For You! I totally forgot about that one. I'm on the hunt. It's the best besides Madison.

  • I saw him in Napa County Cal. 1977 with Sammy Hagar it was Rocken

  • Check out poster Thomascool's site - bunch of GKB songs live from a 1981 show in LA - how did GKB NOT make the big time? Great songs, top-notch musicianship, strong following - fun live shows.
