In Canada, and EVERY other 1st world country in the ENTIRE world. And fyi no gov bureaucrats are in the doctor office, if there is a big difference its that hospitals don't staff a massive billing department which on average accounts for 1/3 of their budget like is customary in the US.

gotta disagree with you on this one homie. as you might know, my fam is fom CUBA..we know about this government run healthcare..and it doesnt work.  thats why in cuba they opened private clincs..and guess whos fillin them up? cats from CAN...dont THEY have government healthcare? then why go to another country to receive treatment? isnt everybody covered under the universal healthcare in CAN? cause it doesnt work...unless your NOT sick..

Everybody is covered for healthcare in CAN, however CAN doesn't SPECIALIZE in much... IF there is a procedure that can not be done in CAN, our healthcare system WILL cover it... Sure you need to apply, and be approved, which can be a pain, but it's still available to be covered.

I have a medical condition where possible procedures are not done in CAN, and the problem with getting healthcare in the states, is that it will not accept my healthcare insurance... I need to find one that will.

I feel your hesitation bro...but the facts don't lie...America has some of the worst social indicators when it comes to health. It has a higher infant mortality rates than most other developed countries as well as CUBA. even the CIA World factbook puts Cuba ahead of the US. Cuba's doctors are infact so well trained that Venezuela provides cheap oil to CUBA simply in exchange for the use of Cuban doctors. Every year South American doctors come to Cuba to learn from the Cubans.

Also I'd like to let you know that I LIVE in Canada now, and have spent the majority of my life up hear, and Canadians in 2004 through a vote named the founder of Universal Healthcare in Canada, Tommy Douglas, "The Greatest Canadian" (ever), since just about everyone here believes it is one of the best features the country has to offer. And while there are indeed problems with the system, almost every Canadian will remark about their pride over it, unless they are filthy rich that is.
