oh my gosh. i am preparing myself months in advance to cry forever about this in the film. i love the princes tale chapter in the deathly hallows, it made me cry so much when harry finds out and how snape dies and the last thing he says is look at me, so he can look into lilys eyes as he dies. it makes me cry just thinking about him dying. and alan rickmans portrayal is perfection in itself.. it will be outstanding in the film, or so i hope. THEY BETTER NOT MISS OUT ANY MEMORIES!!!

Something always told me that Snape couldn't be as evil as he made out to be. I always found him to be an extremely interesting character and remains to this day one of my all time favourites. My heart broke for him when he lost lily despite his efforts to protect her. I also feel he was never meant to be in slytherin, his courage just took a little time shine through, it was just a shame it came too late for him. His story is truly a tragic one.

Ugh I hate it when people support either James or Snape.... It's not like either of the two did anything wrong by loving Lily. I can't blame her for marrying James... Snape was too reckless (probably due to him loving Lily and her not loving him in the same way) and his being a Death Eater scared her. Snape was always and always shall be one of my favorite characters though.

I forget which book it was (I think maybe the 5th book) where Harry looks into Severus' pensieve memory and sees all the things that Severus went through. So it was really a cycle of douchebaggary that went around.
