I would love to have a diesel for towing the fifth wheel but the trailer gets towed to a seasonal campsite, and it sits all summer, plus a trip in the fall. I have similar diesel power, without the maintainance of a diesel. Who cares about 8mpg, still cheaper than diesel ownership.

A friend of mine has a 95 dodge ram v10, crower cam with full exhaust and tune with a novi supercharger and hes around 670hp and 740lb of trq. Fun and different. How did you manage to get a 6,000 lb. supercharged 6.8L V10 truck into the UK when gas is extremely expensive and there's nowhere you can possibly drive it without taking 50 cars with you? Also isn't there a displacement tax there too?
@tyIerz06 before I became ill I was OK for money so the poor MPG did not bother me, I drove it daily without issue, well the arches used to get hit now and again, but always polished out as they are flexy, there is road tax system but American imports are exempt so I was paying the same as someone in a 1.8 Ford escort lol!! Sadly the F350 I sold and now have a boring 04 WRX STi and just about to buy another American pick up as we are getting a 5th wheel trailer

@makattak88 it was 505 bhp and torque was 545 Ib-ft, I sold this truck a couple of years ago and brought a 06 Police cruiser Charger hemi, been a lot of fun here in the UK but Dually was more fun to drive power wise, My charger is on show at the isle of man TT this year
@japspeeduk actually, for example a 6.0l superduty with no mods other then a tune, not only will you get better fuel milege then a supercharged v10, you have more useable power and the trucks engine will generally last long. in case you didint know v10s had tons of issues with head gaskets....main cause, injectors sticking open and filling the cylinder with fuel.
@firefighterfreak25 and? the diesel also lasts longer. the v10 is no better then a 4.6l or 5.4l. all in the triton family, only good for about 300-350 thousand kms. IF its well taken care of. my ol mans expedition still ran but had a popped spark plug at 316,000 when i replaced 5.4l. but you could tell it was tired....i know of 7.3l and 6.0ls pushing close to 500,000 running on most of the original parts other then injectors.

@benpie12 Ford already had the idea of putting a v10 in a mustang, the truck v10 is based off the 5.4l v8 (essentially the 5.4l with 2 more cylinders grafted on) in the mustang (i think it was called The Mule) used a v10 based off the narrower 4.6l engine. ive heard of one person sticking a truck v10 in a stang an that was a 69 fastback, he had to cut away and re work the entire firewall

Well it comes as a complete bolt on kit, but due to the power we had to upgrade other stuff obviously, extra injector, throttle body, Fuelling ECU (which we mapped a few times before getting it totally right), intake system, headers and exhaust, new crate upgraded gearbo,x to be honest I think we went over the top as traction was a bloody nightmare lol!! would have made a good drift truck I guess, but I only watch them drift guys as I'd crash no doubt lol!

Older ones used to use a fair bit of power but didn't use more than they made. The newer Whipple chargers only take about 1-3HP to turn and give you 100hp or so depending so not bad.
Who cares about the exterior static shots. I wanted to see the Whipple installation and hear a little narrative on how easy/difficult the install was to do..

Older ones used to use a fair bit of power but didn't use more than they made. The newer Whipple chargers only take about 1-3HP to turn and give you 100hp or so depending so not bad.

Jacksonville, FL. I'm in Nashville, TN so about 13 or 14 hours. Its got a 6 inch lift on it with 35 mud terrains. Know of place that is semi country that i could get into a city if I wanted? And is cheap on living?

Galveston TX is also an option for exporting out to the UK to Southampton or Liverpool, cheap living here lol!! well steer clear of London and your on the right track, I live in a village of 1,500 people but only an hour away from Leeds/Manchester london is about 3.5 hours away.. you know an F350 will take up 4 parking spaces at Asda (UK part of Wal-mart) I used to piss people off all the time lol!!

putting fancy rims on dually is pointless because eventually you'll be in a situation where you need to drive up and over the curb because the width is so wide and the length of the bed. and it'll gouge the rims

its gas (petrol) but modified Inc Whipple Supercharger so single figure fuel returns, 7mpg was the average and yes in the UK the roads are small as are the cars, when shopping at supermarket I take up 4 parking bays lol!! I had my rear arches hit a few times by on coming traffic!! lucky they are very flexy plastic and polish easy

auto with uprated box and high stall, gas is approx $9.00 A GALLON here at the moment, no not used for work or anything just something different to drive although previous owner in Germany used it twice to tow an Off shore powerboat lol!!

these trucks are everywhere in Ohio, mainly for pulling horses, and industreal appications. But some are all done up too, mainly to the "big rig" look. Sweet truck though!!!
