Yes, there WERE more than three episodes produced, but ABC only AIRED the first three; the network failed to learn its own lesson when it commissioned Lynch to produce a pilot seven years later, "Mullholland Dr.", which they ultimately rejected...after which Lynch bought the rights to the unaired pilot back from them, partially refilmed it, released it as a theatrical feature in 2001, earning him an Oscar nomination for "Best Director"...and has never considered producing ANYTHING for TV since.
