Penner was Minus 2 for the season last year, was benched 10 games for lack of effort, is too slow and lazy too effectively backcheck and scored half of his goals on the Ducks power play units run by either Scott Niedermeyer or Chris Pronger. He made $450,000 last year. He's not worth 22 million and three draft choices. Bertuzzi is a much better hockey player than Penner and we got him for $8 million and no draft choices.
