hey, does yours rev up to like 1500-2000rpm depending on how cold it it outside when you start the engine (and the engine is cold, too) as well?

i've been wondering for a while if this is normal...

Yes its true, i have one too. Colt 1.5CZT Ralliart, 3 doors.

I done 5000km and i changed the oil engine, because when u buy the car new they put an oil really thick. So i changed and my top speed its almost 240km/h. And isnt modify. Im going to try to take off the ESP, they say that can reduce 7.2sec to 6.2sec.

Well i love the car. But the gear box isnt smooth...all Mitsubishi even EVO have that problem.

Besides that Colt Ralliart KICK ASS!!!

i must say that i agree with you on the oil part and so on.

but i find the changes in my Carisma (not really compareable to a colt ralliart and and EVO i know) quite smooth.

its better then in my dads Citroen C5, thats for sure!

Cool car =D And that engine ROCKS!!! Unbelievably fast! Wish I had that on my Dads Carisma... Just curious though, does it have a water temperature gauge? I know the old one didn't but the new Lancer has it hidden away in the onboard computer =S I think it should be mandatory for sports cars like this baby right here!! (the MINI doesn't have one either... kind of a dumb idea if you ask me...)

It has, but it's electronic. When the engine is cold, you have a blue light. When it's not cold anymore, but normal, the light turns off. And when it's too hot, a red light turns on.

try to get your hands on a Carisma MSX, they have a 1.8 DOHC with 140 HP, thats way better then the standard SOHC engines that our carisma's have. they are really hard to get hold of though

yea it is the 2009 model.

i own this car. awesome acceleration =) and doesnt need that much fuel, ~7 litres/100 km;

costumer service is very good. and you feel when the turbo comes, its not too smoth but not a kick of power . its about in the middle.

Indeed, you feel the turbo 'kick' in, but it smoothens really fast, though your still accelerating quite fast.

Certainly it does. Especially if your not the driver and won't expect when the driver will accelerate.

hey danyutz.. i have seen you on the rcolt forum.,., there is a button with ASC on it.. you hold this button down for 3-5 secs and it turns off traction control

It's the video that makes it look slow, but i have tried the new colt ralliart, it's pretty quick for a 1.5 turbo motor :) 0-100 km/h in 7,6 sec for a 5door model. 7,3 for 3door.

Is there any chane to turn off the stabily program on this car including the traction control? It kicked in in first...I presume the time to 100 can be little bit improved.

Looks like 8 secs for 0-100kmph. Not bad. Doesn't seem to be any slower than the previous CZT.
