  • nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..........

  • They were always the ugliest band. Not their fault but people do buy the image with the music. Shameful but reality. Don't act like you never did and cared only about the music. If they were better looking they would have sold more.

  • @NelsonClick What? WHAT? Really? I've never cared about anything except the music. what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard, and everyone is now dumber for having read it.

  • @ilovecolinandbrad

You caught me. I don't know a THING about music making or how the recording business works and have NO insight in such matters. You called me out. I'll go crawl in a hole somewhere and cry.

  • @NelsonClick

    Janis Joplin.

  • @ilovecolinandbrad

I actually like that comeback a lot. You obviously have awareness. Not the normal YouTube retort. Thank you very much, seriously.

  • 10 minutes past and i am hungry

  • The guitar player is straight out of the Warriors....

  • no cowbell comment necessary. this is awesome.

  • I think the bass player was kidnapped from Cameo for this gig.

  • I've watched this vid a thousand times and every single time I wonder if he's ever gonna trip over his mic cable.....

  • Damn!!! I got to shake Demi's hand!!!

  • While I do not particularly like the this song, I find myself often asked this situation and replying in a similar manner.

  • like de drumma n git too,.all gooood.

  • people who claim the 80's was all synth really know very little music form that peroid. Ever heard of jangle pop. Great music from Johnny marr, James Honeyman Scott, and John McGeoch.

  • Don't bash on me you Grunge hounds. I was there. Most of you talk shit and are what - 25, 30 at best? You weren't there. They were are great live show! The awesome black dude on bass is White. But this show is horrible. I hate Letterman anyway. Why do I wanna see some cranked out guy - Chris, jumping around like a jackass? Grunge clothes, whatever...your show up on tv like a meth-head street bum. I'd rather see a pretty Grace Slick on acid! At least she had her own dignity and intelligence!

  • wow this is insane

  • Who let this homeless guy wander into the studio and pretend to be James Brown?

  • Bass player is fantastic.

  • This group blows out the black crowes.

  • Just saw these guys play tonite- AWESOME ! I'm so glad their back together !!! Their better than ever.

  • Wow, a pink Fender bass?!?!

  • I love how they r so fuckin rich yet they still dress like a bunch of hobos

  • This post made my week !! Thank you !!

  • Funk ... Real Funk n Groove! Awesome! " talk about BN "loose" ... is the lead singer!

And the Bass and Drummer (bass and kick drum are perfect) ... A example of How it's supposed to be in, using the word "Groove" ~ it's nothin' BUT!

p.s. watch Paul S. (keys n alarm clock), is having so much FUN, w/these guys!

  • He seems kinda annorexic?

  • He seems kinda annorexic?

  • hell yeah! I remember this performance!

  • Excellant !! Period.

  • god you guys, there are plenty of non-disney musicians today playing really good music well. stop hating. people said it about the 90's back then, when they praised the 70s. its all relative

  • @DimebagsLeftToe ,I know right? I love Grunge music as much as the next guy,but I'm actually open to Rock music, something that can't actually be said about Grunge fans,lol....well,most of them. The majority of bands today will tell you that most of the 90's bands were an Influence on them. Just like all the 90's bands were Influenced by bands from decades before,hell...Kurt Cobain was a Beatles fan. What does that tell you? lol.I'm not forcing bands on anybody, just want them to understand.

  • @slipknotlyrics yeah. people will say the 80s were superficial and poppy synthy stupid shit, but cobain was heavily influenced by the pixies and all them. to generalize a time period like that is useless

  • @DimebagsLeftToe ,Well, the 80's did have some quality music tho. Kurt actually said in an Interview in 1991,when asked about how poppy/heavy Smells like Teen Spirit sounded,to which Kurt replied "Teen Spirit was my attempt at writting a Pop song,I wanted to write the ultimate Pop song. I was basiclly trying to rip off The Pixies because I connected with that band so much that I should've been in that band,or at least a Pixies cover band". Here comes your man is the only song I've heard, love it!!

  • @slipknotlyrics yeah, thats exactly what im saying

  • @DimebagsLeftToe ,All I'm asking is for the Grunge fans to at least take a moment and try to Understand, that Music is obviously Influenced by Music. I'm in no way trying to force them to listen to the bands today, they don't have to,but when they talk shit on them, that offends me cause I like them. I want them to Understand that Grunge is the reason we even have Alternative Rock bands right now,if it weren't for Grunge bands,God knows what we'd be listening to. There's alot of good bands now too.

  • @slipknotlyrics amen!

  • @DimebagsLeftToe ,Oh,what are we eating? Just kidding. Thank you.

  • I hope these guys were nice to the people they met on the way up.

  • hippy pop!

  • hand knitted ! <3

  • The Jam Scene is the damn DREAM, MAN!

  • Wow how much drugs are these guys on? haha

  • @MrJas1991 pffff shut up

  • @MrJas1991 just the right amount!!!

  • I challenge you all to play this song in your car and not exceed the speed limit. Unless you're on the Autobahn.

  • They have a bit of power about their sound! me likes.

  • i think i saw chris barron buying two MD40's at the gas station with change only.

  • those to main guys , one of them is my teacher(singer) and the brown one who's playing guitar used to be my teacher

  • @eklevchuk three questions fris there ur teachers and are u being raciesd or do u mean bassist or guiratist because if u mean bass that is racist

  • 3 people think 4:30 is late

  • Great funk groove guitar riff. Loved these guys back in the day. We used to play about 4 tunes off this CD.

  • Arron is a bad mother fucker. DALLAS REPRISENT!

  • I remember when I began to learn how to play drums, I've actually heared all day long pocket full of kryptonite, and wanted to play like Aaron Comess. A couple of days ago I put the record, and finally 10 years after (like the band) I can play all the record exactly as him.

  • This was when hosts had music that you didn't have to change the channel away from.

  • check out more papa baloo for some more white boy funk

  • Somebody should compile a dvd of all the great bands that played on Letterman back in the 90's. There were some really great performances.

  • this was some fun SH#%!

  • so cool how he looks like he's having so much fun singing this song

  • what ever happened to these guys? miss hearing spin doctors on the radio.

  • @arlenazeek1 Lead singer got vocal chord paralysis in 1999, he didn't get better until 2001.

  • @arlenazeek1 Wow did not know that ..really miss their music

  • he's so skinny

  • mark white is a badass dude

  • love that funky groove! spin docs rocks! =)

  • Chris is a terrific singer and front man. He's having fun, the audience likes that.

  • Observation... Why is the guy in the purple shirt playing the cowbell???? SDr's are all excellent with what they do and the cowbell was throwing me off just listening to it.

  • seen them in concert for this Pocket Full of Kryptonite tour. They were so much fun. The whole crowd was up and dancing. Good times.

  • ... they are Letterman`s band musicians , the `ginger tramp` beard was the `in` thing in part of the 90s , as for your 9 to 5 mentality you`ll never have the guts to have long hair and that beard in your life , boy

  • i get why they have a 2nd and 3rd, guitarist, extra vocals and keyboard, but what is the 2nd drummer there for?

  • That singer would probably have had 10 times more sex if he didn't have his ginger tramp beard...

  • Here's something you don't see in modern musical acts...a band, jumping around, having fun, enjoying the music. No choreographed dancing. Just grooving to the music and enjoying their creation, not something that some Disney producer conjured up.

  • @LJRO You have to listen to the right music to get that kind of performance

  • they are obviously jamming and having a crap load of a good time.

  • amazing

  • Another great band from the 90's.

  • Nice curtsy at the end.

  • I love it, they show their skills in short spurts. No long solos (not that they had time to), but just enough musicianship to really play up the songs. I'm gonna get popular and do this. See you guys later

  • Did they pull that singer out of a ditch on the way to the show?

  • What time is it?

  • its not late!

  • the entire cd is just awesome, but the only thing you would hear on the radio would be little miss..., two princes, and jimmy olsen's blues. every other song on that cd is SO much better, like Off my Line, Refrigerator Car, and Shinbone rally/Hard to exist. the guitarist sang on one of these songs and he sounds better than Barron.

  • @hydr0ponicxx

exactly, all songs you´re talking about are my favorites! but tell me, which song is sung by the guitarist?

  • @ecki444 The song is Off My Line. Another song he sings is Indifference that is on the Turn it Upside Down cd. That song too should have been another hit but i don't know why the hell not....

  • my grandson and I used to sing and dance to this tune, he'll be 21 end of May, 2010.

    wow....1993, he was 4

    PEACE

    what time is it???

    4:20 oh I mean 4:30

  • @bikerbutterfly right on,where did the time go ? this is an awesome cd,keep on dancing my bikerbutterfly....PEACE

  • graet song bad-umm I meen V-E-R-Y bad lyrics....what happaned to em????

and whats these stupid dance moves???

  • Lead singer had Demi More like a school girl!!! lol. Looks aren't everything after all.

  • everyone in this band is very talented and underestimated

  • I've taken a lesson/met at a party Mark White, their bassist. He has to be one of the best bassists. Honesty I think he is, although Flea is who got me playing, Mark is 10 times better.

  • And whats with letterman's house band playing along? The Spin Docs are the real performers.

  • @ibanezrocker12 most recordings use multiple guitars recorded for sound-fill. the same guy did them in the studio, but there's only one of him live, so paul's guitarists are the next logical choice for the show. they want to keep it close to the studio recording because a lot of people who aren't familiar with them are watching. it's like when a band uses extra musicians for the tour for certain songs

  • @drstoopid14 Hey I think Paul Shaffer's keys sound pretty cool but as far as the extra guitars go its not needed. Listen to the version on Homebelly Groove live... it doesn't have ANY rhythm guitar at all and it peaked 145 on US charts. Not bad for a live album.

  • "Homebelly groove live" is a way better album . I love the way this band can segway their songs together its awsome.

  • Love this tune!

  • good old 90's :D

  • That shit was incredible!!!!!!

  • Demi Moore? O_o

  • On dirait Jésus qui chante du rock...!

  • This singer reminds me of Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull...

  • less cowbell

  • the dude couldn't find a shirt with only 4 holes? had to have one with an extra in the back, I see. hahahahaha

  • @aznsketcher xD!

  • where are these guys now???

  • Spin Docs are one of my fav bands. these guys are back together and kickin arround on the road every now and then

  • Someone needs to tell him the mic detaches from the stand

  • that way it's more hardcore :D

  • wow back when musicians can actually play well.

  • essa banda é boa pra caralho, quem saca de musica aqui no Brasil curte d+!

  • little did we know letterman cheats on his wife....good tunes though

  • ohh! what time is it??

the bass player ...is the best

  • Anybody have the time?...I hope I'm not too late...I prefer to be early

  • great bassist!! good band!

  • Which band you mean? who's playing for real ? Them or the house band?

  • the spin doctors' bassist is very good.

  • He look likw Ginger Baker circa Blind faith era!

  • seems like the song was better in 93...

  • bitch

  • 4:04 haahahahhahahahah

  • jajajajajaja

  • This guy moves like he has no bones

  • He doesn't - he was born with a rare disease. show some respect.

  • What?

  • what what?

  • Surprised what asking which disease?

  • fortissimi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • magnificent ! :) musicians' passion to the song, rhytm and singer's joyful singing. just great! :)

  • This is what it´s about!!!! Yes sireee....!!!!

  • More Cowbell! I forgot how good these guys were for such a short time

  • good save by letterman after forgetting the name of the band

  • Flea is definitely overrated. This is a great song!

  • i love him!!!! :D HIS STYLE SO RElAx !!:)

  • Good music :-))))))))))))))

  • thank you for this gem of a performance!

  • great bass player

    funk at its finest

  • Chris Barron has the coolest beard ever

  • 311 stole some of their act.

  • chris baron is the man!!!!!!!!!!

  • waaaaaaaooooo...the best

  • amazing !!!!!!!!! I love this band!

  • AWESOME!! Thats the Black man's equivalent to Flea on Bass guitar right there!

  • Yeah he is good.

    But a better way of putting it would be;

That man is as good as Flea!

Because music transcends all sorts of labels.

    Especially color.

  • Are you a political correctness police"officer" of sorts? There really is more important tihings to be worrying about!

  • lol

ya man tits that noobass cop or gtfo

  • huh?

  • That would be a better way of putting it if he wasn't saying he was the BLACK EQUIVALENT to flee you idiot hahaha

  • Flea is the most overrated bassist of all time. Not knocking his skills here, just saying he's not nearly as good as he's made out to be.

  • I could see why you'd be knocking Flea's bass playing since he's not even in the video.

  • nah, i was responding to someone else's comment, but youtube is gay and it refused to acknowledge that fact

  • Haha, my apologies man.

  • they looks like they are homeless hahah

  • hahahaha

  • @Giustapo hahahaha....that is too funny!

  • Great find, thanks for posting. Ass kicking rock and roll baby.

  • Gotta love the 90's hippie rock

  • great, thanks! does anybody know what happened to the letterman rendition of "little miss can't be wrong"?

  • it will be back up soon

  • fantastic, thx! :)

  • it's up now

  • great song ! Spin doctors really kick some arse ! but cant as the doggie said... why the additional musicians ? I believe they are much better alone...

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is one sick song, and one sick video! thanks for posting

  • Thank you for posting this. Classic Spin Doctors, great sound....but did they really need the house band playing along in the background?
