  • I want this music to be playing when I die. (Or is it that this music makes me want to die? To transcend this earthly world and become inside that perfection?)

    So achingly, heart-breakingly beautiful.

  • lovely talent

  • beautiful

  • awesome! i never tire watching this ballet.

  • awesome!

  • I love this, I watch it again and again, thanks for posting.

  • Yes, Natalia Bessmertnova was a great ballerina. She visited my country in 1991 and danced Spartaco. The adagio was extremely beautiful. The best Frigia ever. Unfortunately Natalia passed away in 2008. She will be within the hearts of all her admirers forever.

  • Classico!!! Though I am not very knowledgeable about ballet, being Cuban, I appreciate it. Thank you BFreak for this clip. Very nice!

  • her's is the best, so delicate, restrained, cool, yet loving

  • clearly, you've missed out on the entire paris opera ballet

  • A very great Giselle

  • muy mal comentario ilse, quisieras poder solo pisar un escenario como ese, y aprende a escribir.

  • which Natalia died?

  • Natalia Bessmertnova, the dancer in the video.

  • thank you for the information...its really a pity.

  • nice very nice !

  • it's so sad the world of ballet has lossed such a beautiful dancer such as natalia, may she rest in peace.

  • I agree, God rest her soul.

  • We've just added this great video to VOXDANCE (new dance video website).

    Thanks for posting it!

On VOXDANCE you'll find the best videos of Ballet, Contemporary dance, Flamenco, Indian dance and Belly dance.

  • The Albrecht is technically adequate, but emotionally cold. After all, his heart IS supposed to be breaking with guilt and loss. There's no such indication with this dancer.

  • muii feito baila sta tipa...

digo d menos k abra los pies...

hace promena ii deja el pie cerrado!!!

    k le pasa???

  • como siempre lo mejor de bailarines estupendo

  • i just saw this last night!! at the phoenix symphony hall!! it was amazing. ballet arizona!!

  • I don't think i've ever seen a ballerina use her arms so thoughtfully or precisely.

  • anyone know who albrecht is played by?

  • I think Yuri Vasyuchenko.

  • I suppose how Giselle should be portrayed is in the eye of the beholder

  • she's technically okay but i didn't feel she portrayed the dead giselle very well... she felt too heavy. I've seen prima ballerinas do this and they were able to effectively give the impression of wispiness

  • i was referring mostly to her arabesque

  • shes graceful but not very flexible

  • In Romantic ballet you aren't supposed to touch your ear with your legs.. Lower positions are used.

    Bessmertnova is the perfect Giselle.

  • and how do you know if she's flexible or not, she's probably not using her extension to her max capability.

  • so beautiful. i want to start dance again cuz of this!

  • Beautiful -thanks

  • I wish this could me! does anybody do ballet in here except ME!

  • I do!!! yay... I LOVE BALLET!!! AHHHHH SORRY :P :D

  • stunning.

  • Uri Vasuchenko as Albrecht

  • That is gunna be mee :) hahaa

    :P

She is so perfect. She's beautiful too.

  • Adore this. She's so lovely.

  • Wow she's got such perfect balance. I will do that some day.

  • Natalia Bessmertnova as Giselle. She was exquisite and perfect.
