@VanMedia graphics are better yes, cpu horse power is better yes.. but my main point is eyefinity. if you've ever played a sim/first person shooter with 3x120hz monitors you will never go back to single monitor gaming. even when using a 50" lcd tv with a ps3, you wont get the same peripheral coverage as 3 22" monitors in eyefinity

@o0bananaman0o i've played rfactor and gtr with 3 monitors at my friend's house before.....not really all that great like you made it out to be. the biggest drawback is the edges of the monitor, it doesn't create a continuous image so it seemed very weird to me. i heard that they have a big ass curve TV nowadays, i wonder how that is.

@VanMedia The ps3 has the fastest cpu in the world but the ps3s gpu is outdated but the gpu doesn't matter because gt5 doesn't use the ps3s gpu it only uses the cpu it has because its so powerful it has gpu capability's. Its very sad that only few people know this mostly the Japanese that developed the ps3. It makes me mad when people say that pc is better than ps3. Because you actually need 5 PCs with the intel i7 cpu to out perform a ps3.

@sonyisking lmao dude, the ps3 CPU is not the fastest CPU in the world. the intel i7 is much stronger. however, the ps3 CPU might be faster for gaming because that's what it was design specifically to do. embedded systems have a specific architecture that is designed to be efficient in whatever it's purpose is, in this case, gaming. the intel i7 cpu is an general purpose cpu, meaning it's design to do everything, which means some things are slow due to alot of overhead.

Kaz's goal for Gran Turismo is simply to spread the beauty of automobiles and racing at a much wider scale than PC gaming can. It's just that most people are more likely to own a TV and a cheaper gaming system than an expensive PC that's strong enough to support his vision. It's all about the availability.

Kaz wasn't the best in the time results, maybe he was so used to real life racing that he left a small margin for safety in this lap imitating real life racing rather than going 100%

Kazunori Yamauchi drives every car like his flowing blood! He makes it look so simple especially with the most realistic settings, but it's not as easy as it looks to really drive that fast and stable especially with rear-wheel drive cars!

man, i love GT, but i have a xbox 360, and play forza 3. FM3 is really really good if you play with the racing wheel.

Im thinking about buy a ps3 to get GT5, but i keep watching videos and videos and i really dont find anything what makes it better tahn forza 3.

May be playing in front a tv would help, but im not sure if GT5 will be good as peopple are saying.

If someone played both games, please tell me if GT is really so good and better than forza.

@SurvivorofSilentHill I have them both, and I got to tell you, GT5 prologue using the g27 wheel is better than FM3. I wonder how it will be the final game. My ps3 is dusting though, just waiting for this!

I actually played the time trial demo also, it's hard, cause the car always end up sliding and sliding, it's definitely much more different than GT4

yeah. Logitech G25 is a great wheel and should be cheaper now with the G27 out, unless moneys no problem.  Im sticking my G25 in hope of even newer wheel nearer the GT5 release.

I thought the G27's wheel would have been given a much bigger facelift with dials like the GT.

if it doesnt impress you then go for a fanatec rs wheel.. if you get the top quality stuff from them its nice.. like clubsport pedals and everything. or run the wheel and shifter with g25 pedals.. they have really nice wheels.. like they are so nice to hold.. rly good if your doing a rly long race.. and they are basicly the same as the g27. i think if i get a wheel i will be getting g25 for 1 reson.. Price. it should be so much cheaper once g27 is out for a while!

if some of the pc hardcore sim wheels worked on the ps3 it would be epic.. stuff like frex but you have the fanatec. thats basicly a g27 just without most g27's problems.. if you get the top wheel they have its probs the best you could get for ps3 but.. it just cost so much money.. your better off with g25 atm. w8 before getting ur wheel get one just before the game comes out as in like a week or 2.. bec the g27 would of been out for a while and g25's will be alot cheaper then!
