@Joeltz Hi from Texas. Thank you for understanding. Many people just want to diminish others who do not believe the same way. Poway is an awesome town. I know it well. I miss San Diego big time. Having been born, raised and lived there for 50 years, it is the the home of my heart.
@LeonBezema Thanks for the heads up on the misspelling. Made the changes just now. Please forgive me. I created over 60 videos of the different contestants and did make a few errors in spelling. If you see anymore please let me know.
@LeonBezema Captain Biorhythm is my alter-ego. I created him in 1976 during the skateboard industry to inspire kids to wear safety equipment and learn about biorhythms to cut down of accidents and injuries. The rainbow jersey comes from the movie Skateboard. I was director of the Pepsi Cola Safety Program and the leader of the "California Rainbow Team." I kept a rainbow jersey for myself. Over the years it transformed into a 30 second brain balance test for my tennis students.
Damn bro, I don't know if you call this courage. If I go out with my nutsack hanging out, that's outrageous, but ain't nobody going to praise me on that.
@hychang5 First you need to create a Hero persona who is going to help others in a good way. Second is to come up with a special costume that does not have to be outrageous. It can be a unique shirt, ring, shorts, etc. Then decide if you can be altruistic and self-sacrificing. Courage is having the guts to help others in a good way without expectation of return. Most of the costumed Heroes I believe want to be Heroes to others in their lives.
@jmPlagueis93 I am not a homosexual. The rainbow jersey comes from the skateboard industry back in the early 70s when I was director of the Pepsi Skateboard Safety program. It is the only remaining jersey from the movie "Skateboard." I have no tattoos. You are being way to harsh in your judgement of me. I invested many years going to the Comic-con taking photos and videos of people and creating online videos and photo albums at my own expense so everyone could download them.
@hychang5 They needed someone to do the interviews at the masquerade. I reluctantly volunteered to fill the gap. Normally, I am the videographer who shoots the videos and creates seperate videos for each contestant so they can have fond memories of the event. It took a lot of time and money to honor those who dressed up in costumes and made an apperance in public. It takes courage to wear a more outrageous costume than others around you. Why not praise people who live outrageous lives.
@666CorpseRot There was no hitting on any of the people I interviewed. I had to fill in on the interviews because the person who was going to do it did not show up. I usually shoot the video. It takes a lot of courage being that old and out of shape in a costume interviewing younger people. It was a one time opportunity by necessity that will never be repeated.
