  • It is better to ask forgiveness than permission, in cases like this.

  • Its good to know people like you are out there. Michigan group up here working very silently and in the shadows to remove abused angels like this by any and all means possible regardless of consequences. Love knows no boundaries for these angels.

  • I am touched by your story. Stitch is a lucky pup!

I hope someone called the animal police on those crack heads to prevent them from ever having animals in their possession again.

  • Awe he's adorable!!! What a great thing you guys did by taking those puppies. I have 2 pitbulls a boy and girl and they are the best dogs I've ever owned. We've taken them to training classes and they passed! Congrats on your new addition to your family!!!!

  • Looks like he's full of worms.. Rounded belly and low energy level. easy fix.

  • Very Nice! Also your right it all comes down to the owner and how commited they are to the proper training for their dog or pup. We also adopted from a shelter. I have a few videos of her (Rocsi).

  • Oh my goodness! Too cute! Thank you for saving this cute little baby.

  • Very nice! We adopted one from a shelter- check her out if you get the chance.

  • your story was very heartwarming! :D

  • also, its great to see that you gave this pup a chance to live a happy life.

  • Least I could do. He has grown into a gorgeous, exuberant young dog who loves to play with the other dogs and his cat, Mister Kitty.

  • I read the story about him that you wrote in the top right hand column and it was just so sweet of you to be his angel and take him in and raise him,i feel so terrible for them when they get in the wrong hands.I have 9pups to get rid of and i feel like i should interegate the new owners LOL im so paranoid that ppl will fight them or something but I cant keep them all lol or i soooo would haha

  • what medicine was used to treat stitch's roundworm problem? is he now free of roundworms?

  • Darned if I remember - got it from my Vet, and it was pretty heavy-duty stuff.

  • "...and farting in their sleep."

Ain't that the truth, lol. When mine does that he wakes himself up and then he acts confused as if he didnt know it was him.

  • if he only knew what he was in for... ♥

  • Lol! It was almost like he DID guess. Little scrap instantly nuzzled up under my chin the moment I picked him up, and fell asleep after sucking on my chin a moment. I was DONE from that moment.

  • Aww thats beyond the sweetest isnt it? omg they are just bundles of joy and puppy love LOL

  • @Badkittym - Mine would always climb up to my neck and then start sucking on my ear lobe before she fell asleep.

  • that would be..."stitch" (:

  • Wasn't he? I still marvel over how HUGE he is now, especially compared to his beginnings. A 'runt' obviously isn't doomed to always be smaller than other dogs of his breed. Likely he was just the last-born as opposed to it being a true biological issue. He didn't grow at the same rate as his littermates, as he wasn't getting as much milk. I am betting he may well be the largest now - or would have been. I fear his mates did not have the same Cinderella Story ending.

  • ruffles was the runt. his first name was "tiny"...now it should be "fatbelly"!

  • he's so cute. we ♥ stich.

  • she looks so sad:)

  • Well, he wasn't doing well here. My vet said 1/4 of his body weight was roundworms, plus he was only 5 weeks old. Far too young to be away from his Mum, yet it was still better than where he HAD been in Arizona. The owners of his Mum were giving his littermates away in exchange for crack.

  • what a doll!

i adopt older dogs usually... im not keen on potty training.

good on ya though for sure!

    xoexo

  • BELIEVE me, I am the same way! Last thing on Earth I wanted, was a squirty little puppy. But, I had no choice in the matter. He got set in my path for a reason, and what could I do but accept?

  • i could not say no to that cute face either :)

    xoexo

  • how precious

  • Stitchy... (:

  • wonderful new entry in ur zoo!

  • Zoo is correct. They find us - we just let 'em in and set out another food dish.

  • in italy we would say: "non fa una piega".. means that it's absolutely linear. perfect. and how did petey, the bunny and VIP cat took the new arrival?

  • Petey loved him instantly. The older dogs, not so much (they hide) because he gnaws toes and ankles and faces. Miss Kitty was scared at first, but now she belts him when he gets too frisky with her tail. He finds her tail too much to resist, I'm afraid.

  • OMG, Marcy.... she's sooooooo cute! Are you keeping her?

  • That's a "him," and absolutely. We did change his name though - Chewie didn't fit. Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) most definitely does. He's in training right now - learning that biting everything that holds still long enough, is bad. Luckily, he's a smart little guy.
