We believe from our conversations with the creator of Note four years ago, that the inspiration came from watching our videos;( However, you will find much different applications on both DVDs... so do some homework on that one to see what you like for you. The method used on Note is what I started with then moved on to a much more complicated set up for various reasons. Please do not reply with any exposure comments, just PM us.

In fact, this is a signature effect Rich does in shows everyday. There was no "permission" needed and the spectator is NOT "in on it". i cant believe i just discovered you...from what ive seen you appear very successful but seriously you should be at the top....instead of all the less skilled people with tv shows where honestly anybody that knows even a little about magic can figure out most of their tricks....you really do bring a new respect for the art of magic.....sorry ill hush for now lol

uhh mentalist is actually a word used. its an entire genre of magic

Funny question... it is not really called anything... it is a combination of some categories of book tests, comedy, magic and mentalism... but mostly it is "jazz mentalism" meaning that it is a freeflowing style using whatever we can do accomplish the end results. In other words, you dont go out to the magic shop and "purchase this 'trick'". ;) To pull this off you'd need to be a an accomplished pickpocket, mentalist and magician. I hope that helps.

Rich really is an awesome mentalist/magician, and only gets better with time, I would love to see him in person again. Maybe one day he will come out here to NC and perform. That would be great.
