Tejano Music is not dead. We had a huge Tejano Festival here in Austin and we had over 5000 people show up for the two day event. This was held during South By Southwest. We didnt expect so many people to show up but the cheers could be heard all the way to the capitol. So it was worth it. More and more Tejano Bands are showing up so please support them.

i was born and raised in corpus christi and still live here, i will never forget the day selena died.

I was 5, but remember my parents talking about her(my dad loved her and went to her free concerts before she was big) and seeing the vigil on the news.
