  • I have one of these, it doesn't have MIDI ports but I've noticed the drum layout follows General MIDI guidelines, I wonder if it's possible to mod them to support MIDI.

  • @fisk0

Maybe, if there are kits to add midi support to a Casio SK-1, maybe there is a standard method to do this with the required parts, who knows.

  • Just got mine back from my parents today, omg the nostalgia! <3 I loved this thing back then! And stil do ^^

It should help me, I'm trying to re-learn the piano...

  • Does anyone know the name of the demo song?

  • @MsSaranghaeLove

    Ballad for adelina

  • @KawaiFS630

    thankss

  • OMG I forgot about these sounds! I was just looking to see if I could find an Older version of Night Birds and all of a sudden I heard those toons and whoosh child hood back (I was 5 or younger and played the demo song over and over, I am 21 now). For some reason that Night Bird demo song just popped in my head today.

  • @ToWYoMama okay atleast the first part of the video I remmeber, the song in the second part, never heard (probably to new of a keyboard)

  • HAHA holy shit i had one of these as a kid. The moment i heard the sound i remembered.

  • NOW I REMEMBER WHAT THIS IS.... I used to have one. I didn't know it was called Casio... Mine didn't have those cool sounds though and it didn't eco after you lifeted the keys.

  • @MangaArtRay

Maybe one Botempi or one Casio PT-x (x means one number of the series)

  • @KawaiFS630

It was from before I was born :\... So it probebly didn't have much cool effects.

  • @MangaArtRay

If you can describe it, maybe I can help you. The colour? the button colours? tell me more if you are interested.

  • @KawaiFS630

Got rid of it last year I think? But it's really easy to remember! It had blue buttons, I think there was green buttons but I never figured out what they did : \... (I think it was to change function of the numbers you click. Like some would be songs already on there or sounds you want the keys to make. My favorite was telephone, applause and vechile XD!) You don't have to help because I don't think I'm getting any anytime soon...

  • @KawaiFS630

Maybe the Casio SA-1 in white with green buttons? xD.

  • love the demo~~~~~

  • When did u buy this?

  • I don´t remember. Almost 20 years ago.

  • Wow thats almost as old as my Casiotone CT-640.

  • I saw some videos of your model and it´s sound equal to this model, and not only that, almost the entire CT line sounds almost equal, with minor differences through the models.

  • Yeah. Its good line. Mine still works perfectly.

  • @KawaiFS630 my cousin bought the keyboard i have back in 1989 then she gave it to me in 2000

  • Thank you God Much!!!!! I was dying to get to hear this song in the First Place and then to know the name of this song. Thanks once again. Be blessed!

  • The name of the song is "ballad for adelina"

  • It is actually "Ballade Pour Adeline" by "Richard Clayderman" and originally composed by "Paul de Senneville". Guys you can search for "Ballade Pour Adeline" on Google, Youtube or anywhere on the net, this is very popular. Thanks.

  • Thank You!
