sure it can, although because the JSX is a non-MIDI amp youll have to use the relay switching in the G-system, or buy a MIDI switching unit that allows the G-system and JSX to communicate via MIDI, this is what i did when i had the JSX i actually had one custom made for me...the relay switching on the G-system has latency and may not be optimal
no worries i just happened to be online :) i think a JSX will be a MASSIVE upgrade from an AVT and you won't regret it. what kind of music do you want to play?
I'm experimenting with different genres... Used to play metal (thrash, some melodic death, etc).
But lately I've been shifting towards blues, rock, melodic/instrumental like Satriani -- not the reason I'm buying this amp though, don't care about "signature" models --
Just trying to broaden my horizons, you know :)
By the way, I just realised I have an RGT42DX like you :) Edge II model, luckily, before they went with the III's.
i have the same gutar and i wanna get some info (what year ect.)can you help

needed a new guitar that i could not afford unfortunately, had no intention of actually selling the amp.

Thank god for that :) It's kinda odd, not many JSX movies available on YouTube. Still, sounds like a tone-rich beast.
Let's hope I can forget my mistake of buying a Marshall AVT now, after 3 years :D
Nice video you have by the way!
Thanks for the fast response.
