The reason this cover is so good is because usually when Lea covers pop songs, she tries way too hard to sound like the original artists (resulting in the horrendous "Baby One More Time" and "Firework" covers). But in this one, she can't copy Usher because he's a man and the song's been completely re-arranged, resulting in her usual amazing timbre to shine through.

The song was performed beautifully by the incredibly talented Lea Michele, but the timing could not have possibly been worse. To have her character's boyfriend complain about having nothing special in his life (to her face!) and then immediately go into this song was poor timing and only further proved how poorly paired "finchel" is. Also, maybe a little more equality between partners would be nice. Klaine=off screen cheek kiss, Brittana-handholding, Finchel-10 second make out? This is not equal
