I worked on Stripperella. It was produced, believe it or not, at the Nickelodeon Studios in Los Angeles. All the other shows there were kiddy shows and everybody hated it. It could have been a really awesome show. Kevin Altieri was directing it and he had assembled a really great crew of artists. Unfortunately the writers were green in animation and basically ruined its chance.

Sucks Spike stopped being the network for men and conformed to be the average "same as most other" networks :( I guess "MANswers" "1000 Ways to Die" and some random UFC stuff classifies them as a mans network...

Well, this series really only had two strikes against it - not everyone enjoyed the corny dialogue and many of the networks that broadcast it chose to strip it of it's main 'selling point'.

(Pixelating the nudity? Show for adults. Hello.) 7:^|

That's not to say that it couldn't be revived (especially via fanfic) but the writers of these 'new episodes' would need to learn from the old series' mistakes.

Then again, knowing how to cater to your audience's fetish(es) wouldn't hurt either. ^_^

Well, if they decide to make a new season, I think that they should add things like:

- a few magic/supernatural elements (ie a genie episode)

- a fetishistic episode or two

- a highly-skilled (and well-written) rival that would die/retire in the series' finale.

(Unless you have some better ideas) ^_^

As for Cheapo, I think the show's crew ran out of ideas for villains. 9_9

That doesn't mean he couldn't be a threat, though. (Cheapo + 3 wishes = *BIG* trouble)

Anyway, let's see what happens.

Re: Comic - If you believe Wikipedia, there *was* going to be a promotional book made but it never happened. That doesn't mean there isn't (a fan-made) one out there, though. ~_^
