@DJBranden I wish people would stop associating a 10/10 as "perfect". 10/10 should suggest a superb game that's a must play for almost everyone, not that its some demi god among other games that has absolutly no weak points. Perfection doesn't exist and never will. Having a 1-10 scale with it being technically impossible to every get a 10 is fucking ridiculous.

It doesn't suggest perfection in any way. My glass could be 100% full of milk. Does that mean my glass is perfect. 10/10 means instant classic. It DOESN'T mean perfect. Even a 10/10 game like Arkham City has numerous things it can (and even needs) to improve apon.

Ok, here's a quick review in case you wanna save 8 minutes of your life. If you're looking for a game with one of the best soundtracks and art design of the last decade, buy this. And if you've already played the trial, trust me it only waaay better later on.
What does the size of a team have to do with it? Are you freaking kidding me! Maybe the difference is that most companies have over 2,000 members. And half of those couldn't even make a game as fantastic as Bastion. Imo this game is COMPLETELY comparable to those games. Especially CoD. This game, is so BEYOND Call of Duty it's not even funny. The story, the visuals, the creativeness. Not to mention this was the first game Supergiant ever made.

I've noticed that in your comments, you've failed to mention the story which, compared to most games out these days, is excellent. The "annoying" narrator, if you cared to listen, is doing exactly what he's meant to - narrating the story.
@artcc4 the big thing about this game basically was graphic ,narrator and weapons. this game is a hack&slash. i tough about the weaponry and i cant think of anything unique to add to the mix. you get an turret from portal if you start new game plus and small changes to the narration so there is a bit of playability and the leaderboards help too but you meant it as you don't relay have will to replay the game case there isn't much to gain from that. and thank you for responding i Aprilette it.

i never said that there was anything wrong with the game or difficulty. I was just saying that the witcher 2 was also a great game and shared that characteristic, in fact the difficulty scaling may indeed even be better with the shrines that Bastion incorporated. The game gets easier as your character gets stronger, and you learn how to use your weapons better at the training ground. This is a great way to show progression in a game while also having a way to tune the difficulty.
So they found basically found 1 thing that was wrong with the game and that was the odd difficulty curve and they knock 5 points off the score for it? right... That is one of the reasons why I dislike adding scores to a review.

If not the game hits Tuesday on Steam for 14.99(same price as the XBLA release) which is good as I don't have that long to wait(pre-ordered it yesterday)
He failed to mention that you can actually fix the difficulty curve yourself with the shrine. You can make the game as difficult as you want. They included that for a reason.
I'm loving this game. I'm about three fourths of the way through the game plus mode. I recommend activating all of the idols within the shrine as soon as they're available. As the reviewer stated, the game can be rather easy; but by activating idols, it is much more challenging and rewarding.
@Thet3 You can make the game a lot harder by turning on Idols which can give you xp/money bonuses, the reviewer complained about the odd difficulty curve but the game doesn't really have one, it is you that chooses how hard the game is throughout your playthrough. Think of it as turning on skulls in Halo.

This game is incredible. I was actually laughing with joy at how well made and fun it is. Trust me, watching someone play it doesn't do it justice. Go buy the game, you won't regret it.
@KingKoreSpeedcore It's good to be cautious especially about this stuff. Hopefully this gem does shine though especially since it's Xbox exclusive. (cries over PS3 but is still happy the game exists)
@thesorrow777 Actually he complained more that it was easy. He said it was odd that it started out harder at the beginning and then gets to easy once you level. That's why he liked the relics, because he could turn them on to make it harder...
I hate how the auto aim is always on in the xbox version. PC you need to aim.

That game has an amazing art style...talented voice actors. Story's simple and catchy.
At one point I stopped concentrating on killing monsters...and I was machinely slicing them apart while listening to the Narrator.
Also the soundtrack is just amazing. Beautiful.
I had chills the entire game.

@KingKoreSpeedcore It's good to be cautious especially about this stuff. Hopefully this gem does shine though especially since it's Xbox exclusive. (cries over PS3 but is still happy the game exists)

@thesorrow777 Actually he complained more that it was easy. He said it was odd that it started out harder at the beginning and then gets to easy once you level. That's why he liked the relics, because he could turn them on to make it harder...
