through the bad and ugly of 9/11, the attacks showed just how good and beautiful the world can be. for that one moment, we were all united. even though 9/11 was the saddest day in the history of America, I've never felt more pride in being American and never more thankful for having the people around the world share our mourning. 9/11 truely brought out everyone's true colors. I wonder how the world will remember that horrific day ten years on. I was 11 at the time and, in many ways, it was my generation's Pearl Harbor. I'm studying abroad in Townsville, Australia at the moment, so I won't be home to mourn the anniversary of my country's most terrible day. I will mourn along with all other Americans over seas. I also cannot express enough gratitude for the support of the Western world in the days after. Thank you.

During 911 i was studying in paris. My father worked in the WTC and when the attack happend all of my class mates mulsums french christans atheists Germans and africans waited for hours with me, crying with me, holding me. Not one person left me untell 4am when i got the call from my dad telling me he was ok. Do not be blinded by our worlds politics into thinking that the people of the world are anything less than your brothers and sisters waiting to help you.
I started crying to this. I was 11 when 9/11 happened and I didn't realize that other countries were so supportive. It makes me so happy to think that in a world so big and diverse, that during hard times we can stand together.

No matter what nation you are from, you tend to show at least some nationalism, and to have your bands who have so proudly sung your national anthem turn their instruments and voices to honoring another country...that says something. No matter what nation you are from, you tend to show at least some nationalism, and to have your bands who have so proudly sung your national anthem turn their instruments and voices to honoring another country...that says something. Besides, conspiracies only work when there's 5-6 people involved. Considering that pulling off 9/11 would've involved tens of thousands of people at local, state, federal and military levels, I seriously doubt that not a single person involved would've kept quiet for the rest of their lives. This video bring tears to my eyes. To the British that have hear the obnoxious comments from Americans - we are not all like this. I can not think of a single American that I know that is not grateful for the United Kingdom. If it was for your great country, I would not be typing this message right now. I have true respect for your country and you government. Your Queen is are Queen at heart. God Bless the US, the UK, and all of Europe.
