    Not illegal as long as you buy the DVD and not modify any of the proprietary components. Just highly frowned upon by Apple.

  • this happens because of the graphics driver, try re-installing with iaktos 10.5.7 which is the newest release of osx86 and select the proper graphics driver.

  • In the meantime, you can use Mac OS X though VNC or TeamViewer without having the screen flicker while using it remotely.

  • I have the exact same computer and the same happens to me whenever I play videos on YouTube, Quicktime, and even iMovie. I'm still trying to figure out how to solve this problem as well.

  • Hello... so i have this problem to with my HP530 but only when i'm on battery power... when i'm with charger that doesn't happen... don't know what might be,.. :(

  • yeah its sucks because it happens alot :( i have a idea could be something to do with the battery drivers because no matter what if i have no charger plugged in at 6% it will do that :( or maybe the vga or graphics drivers i don't know... :(
