Let me clarify: The graduation rate in the US is only around 71%. That's a pathetic rate of graduation from high school. Celebrating an 8th grade graduation is silly. We should expect students to finish high school THEN celebrate that they are going on to further their education or go into the work force.

It's very unfortunate that the 8th grade "graduation" celebration is the ONLY celebration that nearly 30% of Americans realize. That is a pathetic statistic and I think it's incredible that a Presidential candidate is addressing it.
