  • My favorite villian was Pharaoh

  • I never knew or realized that Deidre Hall who played Marlena Evan's Brady on the soap opera, "Days of Our Lives played Electra Woman.

  • The show got me into trouble in preschool. I kept pretending the roll of paper towels was their computer. After a dozen or so times the teacher got tired of having to reroll the thing.

  • Electrabela y dinachica, Electrabela estabe que se podria de buena, jajajaja

  • Damn, but we had weird shit on TV back when I was a kid.

  • Speaking for the 40somethings, I have to say we had more fun as kids back then that the so-called kids have today...gadgets or no gadgets.

  • @NJStormSpotter Yup. If we wanted free porn, we had to steal Playboys and Penthouse mags from the 7-11 or our dad....:)

  • Did they share the same bed ?

  • This was great satuday morning jerk material

  • wow I forgot all about this show, the good ole days

  • @tdhooge I know what you mean, I forgot about this show too until I was surfing, I loved this show. It was the female version of batman and Robin without the comic book fight blurbs. I think we had better show in the 70's on Saturday mornings then kids do today.

  • Someone may have said this already, but -

    Electra-WOW!

  • Deidre Hall is still beautiful at 64

  • I didn't know was Deidre Hall on this show when I used to watch this on ABC Sat. mornings over CH6 WPVI here in Philly. It wasn't til later when I read about the shows she starred on that I found this out. Boy did she look young on this show.

  • I remember these. Introduced me to my first woody as a kid. Good memories . . .

  • Memories....LOL!

  • LOLOLOL This is the funniest thing in the world! And I remember it!!!!!

  • Completely forgotten about this one. For those who are under 35, this is one of the cheesy low budget shows we watched during Sat. mornings but love them at the time. Check out the high-tech special effects.

  • I remember watching this and til this day still sing the opening song! That was kid porn back then.

  • nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Sexy lycra outfits! Gives me wet dreams! LOL!

  • Say what y'all want--but you know that opening theme song has been stuck in your brain for decades!!!!! Me included!!!

  • Watched this show when I was like 4 or 5. Problem is, the last show I saw EW & DG were being "separated" (ahem...cut in half) and the show ended with them screaming "OWW!!!" Then the show wasn't on anymore. For the longest time I thought they had actually been killed. Good ol' mental trauma for a kid.

  • That was awful lol.

  • campy but fun tv series seen this on tv land back in 1998 when i was 14 years old at the time

  • @enisorian No doubt why I watched this and Isis obsessively as a baby baby dyke...I hear Deidre Hall bats clean up for the "Sappho sluggers"

  • i used to watch this shit. really? really!

  • This hurts my brain! Was I REALLY 8 years old when this came out?? This show was INSANE. Wow...but, you know...I wouldn't trade it for the world...I'm glad I'm 43 and remember when this was current and LOVED it. Things were better when we were kids. Wow, again.

  • @terryjfisher Krofft Supershow ruled our world dude! :D

  • Instead of "Electra Base", it should have been called "Electra Complex". ;)

  • Man, Adam Corolla was right. Sid and Marty Kroft were hacks. I used to think this stuff was amazing

  • Electra Woman and Dyna Girl,

    Fighting off evil things.

    They both have successful careers,

'Cuz they're women in the 70s.

    They love - going - down -

    In - EL-E-VA-TORSSSSSSSS!

  • I had such a thing for Judy Strangis.

  • Boner!

  • Damn, this show looks fun as hell!

  • i will say again, a few years later, sextra woman and vagina girl. also, apparently they invented morrigan. land of the lost and speed buggy was better.

  • LMFAO I just turned 40! Damn Dyna Girl was hot! Didn't know that when I was 5.

  • Come on guys. My brother and I RAN home every Friday to watch this show and Wonderbug.

  • I so had a crush on Dyna Girl. Damn but she looks as good as I remember LOL!!!

  • HOLY 70's flashbacks!! LOL I remember this! WHY hasn't this been remade???:)

  • @vlunney Someone actually tried in 2001, but it didn't turn out so well.

    watch?v=ZgLNgV1CMNw

  • just a killer theme song!

  • Dyna girl.... my first crush

  • ROGUE, you dipshit, the word is spelled ROGUE. "Rouge" is makeup.

  • Oh yeah, I remember this one....

  • Deidre was fucking HOT

  • Wow, I vaguely recognize the theme song, but I don't remember ever seeing the show. I must have been an infant at the time.

  • Should have been a porn

  • Ha! I remember this! Nice to hang with fellow 40 year olds!

  • best song ever and yah i pulled it raw to dyna girl....still do

  • Deidre Hall was struggling actress who needed the work, so wont be to hard on her LOL.

  • So it's distaff Batman and Robin except with bright psychedelic colors absolutely everywhere. Amazing. The video quality nimbly straddles the line between actual 70s show and parody of 70s show.

  • they're hot.

  • The great Norman Alden!

  • I bet Deidre Hall would love to have a mass burning of every copy of this series.

  • I used to live for this show.

  • oh ya , i think it was "Cidy luaper"...

  • I had a crush on Dyna Girl as a B.U.D.

  • Wow we are all in our 40's now...STOP TIME!

  • @clintbronson5

Scary I know! When my kids are watching what I used to, then I knew time has flown. This was a fun and simple time in my life and there are times I wish I could go back!

  • being a boy i thought it was kind of dorky. except maybe for their cool looking three-wheel golf cart.

  • Cidy luaper sang the theme song for this show,

  • Love Deidra Hall In This

  • Okay, 2 things. 1. Looking at this I can only wonder what else I've forgotten about my childhood. And 2. Deidre Hall. Wow. How did I forget THAT.

  • OMG I am old as Sin

  • @bigphat200 me too. lol

  • @bigphat200 bigphat200 if it's any consolation then i'm old as sin too because i grew up watching this show as well as the rest of the kroft supershow.

  • @darchylde612 @kesayo This was a horrible TV show, but when u consider the young developing mind watching it is really isn't that bad.

  • This was so stupid!

  • Bad then it was pretty hip, but now it's just hilarious. I can't believe we watched such crap like this so long ago. The only shows I really watched were Dr. Shrinker (that actually had a better song then this), Wonder Bug (still better), Land of the Lost & Shazam and Isis hour. PufnStuf was also pretty funny back then. Magic Mango? Bigfoot & Wildboy? All crap. Only good thing about Electra Woman & Dyna Girl was that they were pretty HOT looking back then. Diedra was a gorgeous blond.

  • This superheroe segment is not the highlight of Ms.Hall's tv acting career..to this day..she would prefer to forget that she was ever"Electra Woman".

  • @4thekidsTV haha,oh well, you gotta star somewhere. And you can do worse than entertaining kids on Saturday morning. And a whole generation grew up knowing her from the start. Just like Morgan Freeman! I've liked almost everything he's done since I first saw him on The Electric Company!

  • The BEST Sid & Marty Kroft show theme song.

  • I love the song.

  • Wildly Judy Sturgis is only 2 years younger than Deidre Hall. anyone know how tall she is, or isn't because Hall towers over her.

  • ....Awesome

  • Now this is a 70's Saturday morning beat! Didn't they play this intro at club Studio 54? (smile). ~Peace, smiles and God Bless~.

  • I used to be in love with those women back in the day!!!!

  • I LOVED this show when I was a little girl <3! Thanks!

  • Always thought Dyna Girl was so hot.

  • did she just rhyme "threats" with "meets"? oh god

  • from the 70?

  • All I need is a bowl of Crispy Critters and I'm all set....

  • Any cheesier, you're be hoping they throw in a free bag of tortilla chips for the nachos that will result!

Still, they were something back then, eh?

  • I like the version where Electra Woman shows her sweet cleavage much better than this one...

  • ...Starring Deidre Hall as Super Milf! Yay!

  • 0:16 DynaGirl kinda reminds me of a young Karen Carpenter, especially with that hairstyle.

  • lol I didn't know this serie but my conclusion: more vintage and kitsch as that, you can't do!

  • Wouldn't they need a guy to kill the big spider in the intro for them though?

  • @sqwuade I was thinking the same thing!

  • :35 Gary Glitter

    :36 Leslie Nielsen

    :37 Lady Gaga

  • I had such a crush a Dynagirl. Is it wrong that I still do? I mean she looks at least 18.

  • What network was this as part of Kroft Superstars on?

  • COOL

  • The electro-coms they wear, they can text, surf the web, take pictures, blow wine glasses away with lasers! B-)

  • No need to worry, this idiocy didn't cause any ratings loss for Wonder woman.

  • Oh man, I loved this as a kid. Now just 46 seconds of it made me throw up a little in my mouth.

  • God they were HOT!!! Particulary Dyna Girl!!!

  • I never realized how VERY similar the theme song is to The Jackson Five's "Dancing Machine." I smell a lawsuit ... :)

  • I bet the guy who washed their costumes had himself a couple of good sniffs now and then.

  • Diedre Hall & Judy Strangis in shiny tights. A wet dream come true!

  • Thumbs up if you think that those are handlebars on Dynagirl, not pigtails.

  • triple xxx woman and vagina girl! lol! man its been so many years i wish i knew about this then. now i wanna go watch sigmund and gilligan as space nuts.

  • Take that, glass of wine!!!

  • Electra? For decades I thought it was Electro.

  • Hey! It's Marlena!

  • god! its like morrigan, spider woman, and the enchantress all rolled up into one! as the female villains this rocks!

  • And they say that Doctor Who looked cheesy in the 70's.

  • wow!

porn was bad in the seventies

  • So, their super powers were; they have a car and a cel phone? DYNA WOW!

  • LOL they do not even wear glasses or a mesk

  • Great Video! Love Electra Woman!

  • The video quality of this is amazing. How did you get such a clean copy?

  • These girls are good looking. Giving young boys wood.

  • C (what) 2 CONTINUE?

  • I wonder if Deidre Hall ever wish she could forget she ever did this show...LOL.And is it me or does the theme song sound a lot like Dancing Machine by the Jacksons.

  • @tball464 lol I went through all these comments,to see if I wasn't the only one that swore I was hearing Dancing Machine! Then I spotted your comment. Good ears!!!

  • Norman Alden was the voice of Aquaman

  • Scoffing at the idea of girl superheroes, my friend would refer to this show as "Electra Dick and Dyna Balls"

  • Do they fight crime even during their period?

  • @Attila709 Are you kidding? That's when you BETTER not let them catch you.

  • Three Words!! OUCH! OUCH! and OUCH! Spank me!!

  • I, for one, am not impressed with the glass shattering ray; I can get Ella Fitzgerald to do that with an outtake from a "Is it live or is it Memorex" commercial. And some of those villains are so gay that even gay people think "Man, they're really gay".

  • funny!

  • Electra Woman's helmet hair with all the curls looks hot. Retro, but not bad.

  • Groovy!

  • lol the 70's

  • I wanted to be Electra Woman growing up. I never realized that Diedre Hall played the role of Electra Woman. :)

  • LOVED this show! Would look so forward to seeing it on Saturday. Was singing the theme song during the week. Yup, I'm gay. That's so gay, right?... isn't that what all the Facebook Autotune Generation love to say when something is lame. *eye roll*

  • @gab4nuke Didn't they get Donna Summer to sing the theme song? Or was it Kiki Dee? Wow - this was a cool show. Two no-talent lezbos flying around in a flying Pinto! Those special effects put Star Wars to shame! Electra-Lezbo and Dyna-Dyke fighting crime and men to make the world safe for lesbolicious, butch bitches in mid-'70s leisure suits. In seaon two they traded in their Pinto for a bitchin flying Gremlin! Dyna-Dyke shaved her head and got a tattoo. Electra-Lezbo got a tank top!

  • porn video quality, porn music....tie me up!

  • This show always gave me a warm feeling in my pants when i was a little kid.

  • god damn. morrrigan and spider woman eleventy billion years before they existed!

awesome! time to go scan sigmund and witchy poo!

  • Holy crap! I didn't realize this was Diedre Hall. Pre-Days of Our Lives!

  • I wonder if these two would still take me to the police if I kept grabbing their T&A. What I have I got to lose???

  • hell ya!

    this show ruled!

  • You really need to add Deirdre Hall's name to the tag's dude. lol You'll get a whole new set of comments. rofl

  • Diedre Hall!!! Lord have mercy!

  • Thumbs up if u think this was a female version of batman and robin.

  • soft porn?

  • So...this is a 70's show for adults? You know...adult stuff?

  • I always fantasized that if I can keep Electra Woman away from Dyna Girl long enough, her costume won't fit anymore in about nine months...

  • omg!!!! i typed this is just to see if i was the only person on earth who rememberd this show lol!!!!this was one of my favorite shows!!! next to land of the lost and the volkswagan that could fly.. i wish i knew the name of that show..hmmmm anyone remember?? and no its not that herby crap lol

  • @619kelli Wonderbug

  • @sparkysparkinson omg thtas it!!! haha thanx!!

  • Judy Strangis in pigtails...YUM!

  • I remember this show growing up in the 70's.

  • Whenever I saw Dyna Girl I'd start drooling and forget my name...and I was only 5 years old!

  • Wow, that looks so bad it could almost be Canadian!

  • @eimb1999 The Canadian shows were so bad they were awesome

  • @Love4SK : Perfect candidates for MST3K eh? LOL!

  • @eimb1999 how i met your mother...lol...

  • Was this just a rip off of Batman and Robin?

  • ma chi è???????

  • I can't help but hear the Jackson 5 song "Dancing Machine" when I hear the beat to this song lol

  • HAHAH GOOD MEMORIES =)

  • Electra Woman and Dyna Girl would say, "Batman and Robin, eat your hearts out!"

  • is it me or the intro kind of sounds like the jackson five's dance machine

  • Electra Woman had a long stretch on Days of Our Lives

  • Vivendi Entertainment would release "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl: The Complete Series coming to DVD as a part of "The World of Sid & Marty Krofft" collection.

  • 5 people were never allowed to watch this show...

  • Isn't the "Electra-Car" where Chevy got the idea for the Volt?

  • what year was this show popu;ar? I seem to remember it

  • @desertshore Maybe that's why I perfered Mighty Isis

Any idea wher/how ican find the sheetmusic for this tv theme?

  • @Freyja1133 uh uhh. did'ya see the live cyndi lauper version on the sidebar tho?? .. she was born 2 sing it, lmao

  • I had a major crush on Dyna girl!

  • @thor19b me too.dyna girl gave me my first toddler chub.

  • Hoping Sid and Marty Krofft would like to ask any major film company if they could get a "green light" on the motion picture adaptation of "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl". We were wondering who will portray them in a movie? And the original actresses from the 1970s TV series would make their cameo appearances?

  • Electra Woman never let Dyna Girl drive the car.
