I can still remember going to the football and watching Gary Ablett play.

He was a childhood hero for me, just by the way he played on the football field was just something amazing to watch sometimes.

Just can't see anyone stopping him in the preliminary final and you can bet the magpies will upset Adelaide to prevail and play the cats yet again next Saturday night. He is going to dominate in that match and then in the grand final to finally show everyone he is the best footballer since Ablett snr and Carey.

So glad to see his son dominating over the past 3 seasons now to be regarded as one of the all-time great midfielder's is a true testiment to the standing of the Ablett's in AFL/VFL football history.

Absolutely awesome. The only problem I have is that you've used a little bit of artistic licence with that 'goal' against Melbourne at the end which he actually missed. Apart from that, looks like the best sporting video you could ever see.

hope you enjoyed it. We used a few programs both on windows and the Mac including Adobe, Boris, avisynth (with many thanks to Robert Martens) and needed to go through the process of restoring and reformatting the earlier Ablett footage.

Yes the complete video we should have up in the coming months hopefully.
