it will probly continue on with that chicks husband from the first movie looking for her, similar to how James was looking for his dead wife in SH2. except that will make them have to twist the story around alot and the end product will probly seem repulsive to SH fans

I know I belong to a minority there, but I really cannot make anything of the SH series.

It just looks like a bad horror movie to me, where nothing makes sense. Everything is allowed for the sake of scare effects. That just doesn't work on me.

The atmosphere is rendered scary and tense, with skill. But the monsters and events are so over-the-top that I am really not interested in finding out what happens next.

Just my opinion. Take it easy. =)

It doesn't make sense because, unlike everything else in the entertainment field, the game doesn't spoon-feed you its crap.

And the basic plots do make sense, just like any other game. If you're talking about the psychological stuff, you're still wrong, as that's almost always left to the fans to debate, and usually doesn't mean much in-game.

I am anything but the target audience of spoon-fed media. Radios dropping from the ceilings of elevators (6:40) don't strike me as ingenious game-design, though. Not run-of-the-mill material, but very obviously an event purely for the sake of giving a creepy feeling at the sacrifice of sense.

Utter absurdity doesn't equal inventiveness.
