Metallica failed to show their loyalty to Jason. Jason rubbed James and Lars's ego up the wrong way and he was made to feel like an outsider. Combine millions of dollars and Alcoholism and you get a grade A wanker Ladies and Gentlemen.. It's amazing how one drunken arsehole can ruin Metallica for millions and meanwhile walk around like a complete embarassment to himself and the band, throwing mood swings and the rest to gain attention and control.

You check out some of the videos of Jason getting humiliated by Jaames and Kirk in Public, then you'll understand a whole new dimension to the story. Hopefully, you'll understand why our heart goes to Jason. Cliff was a legend, Rob is a monkey with a basketball shirt on, JASON WAS METALLICA

I love Cliff,I love Rob,but Jason gave Metallica pure performance during their live shows.I've seen them live anytime that I could since I first heard them back in 1986.Master Of Puppets made me a Metallica fan.I'm not knocking Cliff (R.I.P.) or Rob,but I wish that the day Jason left never came.But Rob came and Metallica are still able to rock out like they have been for almost 3 decades.Long live Metallica.

i hated jason than i realised that although he's not even close to cliff ,he played bass with pick but that his style but later on i really apreciated him since cliff death since his entry in metallica he was a constant headbanging,energy,motivating,­back singer he was loyal to metallica during these years still he made a very good speech for the induction of metallica in the hall of fame he needed metallica the how metallica needed him thanks jason u were -are-will remain great

Metallica isn't the same without Jason...he was a machine on stage...backing vocals from hell....never will the songs he sang backing vocals on ever sound the same.....but Metallica has to be loyal to Rob for filling in when they needed a bass player, so loyalty keeps Rob in the band, but there is no doubt that Metallica is not or ever will be the same without Jasons energy and vocals...HIS DAMN VOCALS>>>VOCALS

You're right, Metallica will never be the same without Newsted... But I disagree about loyalty. Trujillo got more than well paid to join the band, they hired him as a bass player, it was not marriage proposal. They should kindly let him go and bring back Jason in the band.

I love Jason and miss him in Metallica. He's such a nice and intelligent guy and a hell of a bass player! I was really moved when he appeared -well deserved- in the Hall of Fame. But I'm fine with it that he's happy where he is now.
