So once you grow the corn. You do have to let it get hard that way it pops off of the ear of corn. Then you boil the individual corns kernel till they soften. Then you grind them up into the cornmeall that then becomes cornbread, tortillas, muffins etc. Correct?

When you cook the corn. . .do you put it in the oven ? or what ? I am interested in making my own corn-meal. I like to make everything from scratch, as long as I know the process. Thank you for posting !
