I recon it would have been much better in a more industrial environment and without the empty hand combat. since lightsabers are a futeristic weapon after all. To me it dosnt seem right to have lightsaber combat in a completly natural environment, just to out of place. Normal sowrds would be fine, but not lightsabers and laser guns

I could not help noticing that you do not think LSMaker is not that great. I admit, it is not as good as Adobe After Effects, but I can make it produce a glow effect similar in quality to After Effects, up to a point, by tinkering with the lightness and blur settings while having the glow render by the color rather than by the image. Have you ever tried that in LSMaker. If not, give it a test to try to prove me wrong about the glow being almost as good as After Effects.

@PokerfaceFighter2 Maybe to someone who is relatively new to VFX editing, or to someone who is still only at a very basic level this may seem the case (I'm not trying to insult you here), but I have used LSMaker and the results it produces are of far lower quality than those created in a more advanced, industry standard program such as after effects. The customization options are also very low. It's great for beginners to get a handle on it, but not good for any higher end work.

I do like it, but it was far too slow. The POV camera angles made it FEEL like a fight and added intensity, so thumbs-up for innovation, they just should have taken the pace up a few notches.

Oh, and serious kudos for using a laser tag blaster for improv weaponry.

It's not something that you just "get", you have to make them through extensive hours of rotoscaping in programs such as Adobe After Effects.

There are major problems with what you just said.

a) No, you can't simply just "get" lightsaber effects. Yes LSMaker is built for making lightsaber effects, but you still have to put a lot of effort and have some focus to make them effective.

b)LSMaker is just a cheap program that gives low-end, unconvincing effects. If you want to spend the time making your sabers look really good and convincing, you use a much more thorough, complex program such as Adobe After Effects.

Don't get ultra sabers! They are a total rip off. It's like $100.00 for a cheap one! They arn't even very good. Toys r us has way better ones. Anyway, that's just spetial effects. You can't really buy lightsabers that look that real, but just don't gut ultra sabers

Nice saber and blaster effects guys. Only thing you need to work on is choreography. I couldn't get into the fight because it didn't look at all like you wanted to kill eachother. When "fake" fighting you want to make sure it looks real. That means use real muscle when you go to hit. in a way that doesn't look like your opponent is suppose to block.

Like I said though, stellar effects keep it up.
