  • So when science is wrong, blind believes are right by default :-).

  • @rycka1983 - Well yeah. That's just basic fallacious intuition.

  • Eric is either stupid or he is living the lie of his father. Science questions and continues to question everything......Science will prove a theory a fact such as evolution. FACT ! Live with it !

  • @ikinmoore - Theories don't become facts or laws, as has been pointed out to Eric.

  • @Venaloid

Evolution is now a fact. Regardless of what has been said, people who are relgious tend to have a blinked opinion as to a FACT. DNA,fossils have proved Evolution beyond any religious book and the sooner Eric learns this the better.

  • I don't think I can hate these arseholes anymore than I do right now.

  • Science is fact, Eric's question at the beginning is stupid

  • Wait... When he said that mice came from non-living material, did he mean dead or inorganic? Bacause grain is organic, though it is dead at that point.

  • @PikminDS - The hypothesis of spontaneous generation, I believe, applied to dead organic material, since the rotting of it is what lead to maggots and leaving it out attracted mice.

  • @Venaloid True, but I was curious about the guy from the "Creation Reseach Team" who said it. I can't be sure what he meant by it regardless of what SG actually is. Perhaps I am asking too much since none of us are able to read minds?

  • @PikminDS - My guess is that he meant anything that is not alive, since he says it HAS BEEN going on for hundreds of years; it sounded like they were taking a shot at abiogenesis.

  • @PikminDS grains are actually living, but they didn't know that either back when they belived this.

  • that was brilliant

  • What a useless character this Hovind guy is... Very good video by the way.

  • I love the way science is their best friend when it appears loosely correlate with their magic book.

  • Hey V, I love the line at around 3:31. It is the only thing they said that made sense, though contradictory to their own argument:

“Just because we hold something as ‘GOSPEL truth’ today, doesn’t mean it will be the same in 30 or 40 yrs”.

  • @FishHeadSalad - I would have pointed that out, and I was going to, but immediately after he said that science wasn't certain and is sounded a lot more like "gospel truth" was used as a hyperbole, though I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.

  • Nicely pwned!

  • BANGS MYHEAD AGAINST A WALL! HIS FUCKING BIBLE IS REVISED FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT> & HAS BEEN REVISED THROUGHOUT HiSTORY>

  • 3:11 - Which modern brain science are you referencing? While phrenology is indeed discredited, damage to specific parts of the brain have been observed to impair specific functions, like memory, bodily awareness, or visual perception (Damasio and others have written about this). Or are you drawing a distinction between function and behavior?

  • @HebaruSan I think that was a slip of the tongue. I guess he meant skull/scalp, not brain.

  • @HebaruSan - Poorly phrased on my part: I meant that the regions they assigned to behaviors were pretty much arbitrary.

  • This kind of material is nothing more than Christian propaganda, which, as a commenter below said, is intended for "the poorly educated and gullible masses".

In fact, most religious material produced on science is nothing more than propaganda. I would even extended this to historical material as well, seeing how they routinely malign American and Christian history to further their agendas.

  • great video!

  • 'Like Father , Like Son'

The old man has taught him how to make a living from the poorly educated and gullible masses - the religion business.

  • Very well done!
