Lol I never realized there were actually different models of trains until this video. i just tend to notice the differences between buses-some of them have these rainbow seats, some seats are plain blue, and now they have these new buses which are completely different-they talk when you request a stop! hehe :) lol

I took the Q train from WTC down to the last stop, Coney Island and I swear I was the only person on the whole train. I love all the graffiti on the way out there. New York is great.

That was very clever for the Q train conductor to reopen the doors for passengers connecting from that B train.

@TheSubwayMustango I agree. The "Q" trains run a little fasting especially if another line is against them. The only line the "Q" can't beat is the "R". Those 46's are really fast in acceleration and the "R" is just fast. It is just very in frequent and you have to wait for it.

@qolspony Yeah the R46s on the (R) r pretty fast in brooklyn.Fair in manhattan.and slow in queens except the tunnel it goes through manhattan/quns.Its really fast there.

@mtattrain I've seen many train video's and this is the first one I've seen with two trains taking off at the exact same time. I really like the "Q", but the "B" really isn't that bad. Although it is express, it does run less frequent. But it does make up good time if you coming from a distant station. The downside is the connections aren't as good with the "B' (6th Avenue) as they are with the "Q" (Broadway). So the crowd is pretty balance.

R160As are made by Alstom, R160Bs are made by Kawasaki, with two different propulsions.

R68s were made by Westinghouse, with R68As were made by Kawasaki, with slightly different specs

R160Bs are made of stainless steel, as well. The black part of the R160Bs are for the color scheme. Did you ever ride on an R142 or R142A 4 train?

Those cars, like the R142s on the 2/5, the R142As on the 6, the R142S cars, and the R143s on the L all have color schemes in the front.

well notr really i mean i cant now cuzi live in gay delaware i moved here in 2003 and when i live in bklyn, i only used to take the D (bklyn local brightin) and Q (bklyn express) and i always always rode on the r68s and r68a so i never really tried to ride on it cuz those trains cuz there in like Queens and bronx only rite?? but im going to nyc today or tomorrow so ill PROBALY RIDE ON THE R160B Q frm ave J to like manhattan

reminds me of 1996-97, when the D (Brighton Local) was all R68s while the Q (Brighton Express) was all R68As. at that time, the R68As looked much better than R68s.
