The laptop had wireless B built in. The usb adapter was for wireless N. I've worked on 20 laptops and used a usb wireless adapter on all without problems. You could have a bad usb port, faulty wireless adapter, or faulty drivers for the adapter or motherboard.
why you use a wlan stick ? i have USB hud problems cant use them when i put them on, my laptop freezing :( anyone have a idea how to fix this ? or do i have to buy a new motherboard :(
