I didn't catch at first how her voice shakes with rage when she talks to him. Or appreciate that she gets rid of the parents. At first, I thought she didn't want them to see that side of her, but I realized it's because they would show mercy.
@eblackwell I also think she has all that rage in the beginning because of the threat the Dalek presented to her parents. Psychopath like river song would NOT take that lightly.
@Ibeatgod689 It doesn't take a psychopath to be furious that someone or something has threatened people you care about. And remember, the Dalek had just shot the Doctor. The man who (SPOILERS) ultimately made River who she is, and made her a better person than she would have been. Nobody messes with River's sweetie and lives.
