I don't separate the two issues. I can't support the people and not their job. That would be like supporting a friend who is a hitman. He goes around killing people because he is ordered to. That is something I disagree with. I don't have a problem with killing people who are a direct threat - hence Iraq and Afghanistan don't fit.

THAT is the problem with christianity, they'll say " turn to christ BEFORE IT"S TOO LATE" BS life will continue even in death, i believe we ARE the universe experiencing itself(no i'm not new-age) and in the end we turn into a star, after all, that is where we get the resources for life(whenever there is a supernova) that deep time life won't seem like any time at all because u r unconscious, before you know it the star explodes and you're back!

no matter what happens in our lives God is with us. When you don't feel like God is with you, he is with probably with you.

it seems hard to turn to God when we are going through really tough times in our lives. For me its the hardest time to turn to God and ask him to help me, but i know i need ot turn to him more often then i do know.

if you have children imagine you child(ren) coming to you because they are going through a tough time. That is what it is like for God and us.

I got the Alive album after hearing a demo of the "Alive" track. I love the album, but I wish there were more tracks on it like "Alive." Sometimes I'm just in the mood to rock! I am hoping that Todd Smith decides to release another album with more heavy tracks on it. I like "Turn to You" and "Sweet Jesus" so much that I play along with those tracks on my Roland stage piano. Maybe some could put the "Alive" tack on youtube.
