Hi SandyBreezy no I am not asian, I'm an Aussie living in Victoria. Yes you can keep rainbows in a 15 gallon tank do not overcrowd it though. They like about 7.0 PH and about 26 C temp they grow to about 5 inches in length and don't start to colour up untill about 1 year old I feed mine on a variety of frozen, fresh, & pellet , flake food and they are thriving. I have 25 in my 4 foot tank along with a couple of briselnose catfish and siamese algea eaters rainbows are an easy fish to keep.
