How can you say Muslims hate Americans when so many of us are American?? That doesn't make sense at all. Ma tahablish when it comes to Islam. It's haram. For example you listen to this sad rock song, you start suddenly getting sad but if you listen to a rock song that is very upbeat, suddenly you get up beat.These are the ways of the Shaitan trying to get to us. Instead of Worsipping our lord, he is drifting us away with Music/Musical Instruments.

The surah you mentioned,those people have already became pigs and monkeys.If you commit a sin today,Allah s.w.t.won't punish you physically but he will punish you on the day of judgement instead.And I do not fully understand that why all instruments aren't forbidden if it was so that instruments are forbidden.I read that drums are halal and somemore string-instruments but a guitar isn't for example.And the voice is an instrument,but it is used for the ezan so it shouldn't be haram.
