I just want a sequel to fallout 3 that follows the same wasteland characteristics. Also they could incorporate some of the new features from New Vegas. Like ADS, new weapons, and enemys. I don't feel New Vegas was a sequel to Fallout 3 but rather a new game entirely. WE WANT SEQUEL BETHESDA!

This is a good game and all I just feel its missing alot. Most of the levels or gun play areas are really straight forward and linear. I also feel the end is a major disappointment because there was no final boss! I liked killing muties and the graphics are sick! I just hope they put a pit more time and RPG feel to it if they make a sequel. I also feel that the game was way too hyped up! Basically its no fallout. :( What they should do is remake fallout three with new quests n graphics!

Link, it kinda seems like you don't get much tearing with this game. I have a bit of a problem with tearing this game, actually its pretty severe to me. I have i5 2500k, 8gb of 1333mhz ram and a gtx 580, so basically a similiar rig to yours. How can i reduce the tearing? In other words, how can i enable v-sync? Its so dumb not to put v-sync into the pc version of the game.. I have capped my frame rates at 60 via config files, but it did not help even a bit. Any tips you have would be nice :).

Great review. Really appreciate the forewarning that RAGE wasn't as much of an RPG as I hoped it was, which really made me hold back on my decision to buy it. I guess it's back to replaying Fallout then!

but i have rage and finished it within 2 days with all upgrades all weapons and everything there is nothing to do afterwards and have finished all missions but the combat was amazing but was reallly dissapointed because that in fallout you could go on for hours finding new locations and my favorite finding all the new weapons its a solid to okay game bout a 7 and very good commentary btw

Giving a game a score doesn't access it's strengths and weaknesses. If fact it dumbs down the review ptocess, because people don't pay attention to details if they can see an overarching number.

Games are too complex to sum their quality up as a number!

Great review for this awesome game. For a game that looks this good, the slight texture pop-in does not bother me at all--it otherwise runs silky smooth on my PS3. I'm a graphics person, and between gunfights, I often just wonder around the levels admiring the detail.

You made a small mistake. You said that race cartificates can ONLY be aquired by winning races. This isn't completly true, In subway town (the city you get to visit at about the half point of the game) you get 1 racing cartificate for ever bandit car you blwo up for the owner of the bar. But that's about it. None the less EXCELLENT REVIEW. honestly, i think you did this game the most justice then anybody else on youtube. /salute.

as an overall look at this game i can agree it looks appealing but once you get into it, the game is very rinse wash repeat with no real challenge even on the nightmare difficulty. personally i spent the 4 hours it took me to beat the game punching everything in sight to make this more of a challenge.. and the worst part is the enormous letdown at the end of the game where you encounter no boss like element to stop you from your goal.

The asteroid Apophis is real, however, in 2029 it is only going to fly past Earth (closer than the moon I believe), and if it hits a small 100metre square area (commonly referred to as a "keyhole")then it will strike the Earth in 2036. There is only a 1 in 400,000 chance of this however, but it makes one think, we don't have any means of defending ourselves from a near-earth object.
